R.I.P Engineer

I just received some news on another forum that the veteran Mapcore user Engineer/ "Engy" aka Mitchell Keesee has died at the age of 23 years. For those of you who might remember him, he's best known for frequenting IRC making jokes about GOATSE and other things, but he was also a mapper and sound engineer (hence the name). He'd been gone from here for quite some time when I came across him on another forum dealing with Half-Life mods, as most of our encounters (and indeed with others) was on IRC which I no longer use, I didn't really "catch up" and he was sort of a behind-scenes-man.

Cause of death is unknown at this point.

WTF?

engineer didn't really post much on the forums from what I remember but he was an IRC regular way back, that's awful. Talked to him a lot, just like H20.

He was a pretty cool guy, he did sound engineering for INS Beta 2 and we talked sometimes on steam. Damn, that's horrible, first wata and now engy

This can't be true.... I just talked to him on AIM two weeks ago and we were talking about the old school DOD days and making mannzerfaust jokes.

I just got this news... and this makes me very sad to hear. When you have been in a community for a long time like Mapcore you meet some wonderful people who not only care but go the extra mile to make their time here enjoyable. Engy was one of those people; this year marks 12 years for me here at Mapcore and Engy was a part of that... You will be missed my friend!
