Wish they'd go with 3rd person, seems like a no brainer for me, but who knows, there might be good reason for that. Hopefully there will be some more info next week

Disappointed that it is not honest to the original. I don't know what this fps craze is all about. fps is the new ww2 fps lol.

It's by Starbreeze tho so it will probably not suck.

Since both X-com and Syndicate was well before my time, I can't say I'm disappointed.

There's not much info to go on thus far, but the screens look pretty good! I hope my fellow Swedes at Starbreeze pull this off

I never played the original games, only heard about how you could brainwash people, so I look forward to brainwashing people... in 3D

also lolled at the phrase "interface directly with the Dataverse. "

I was hoping sooooooo strong, that they will make new Syndicate, but in oldschool way, managing 4 cyborgs group in big city, that was fun, ehh to be honest i'm getting tired of FPS on every corner, i love that genre of games, but god damn, soon all fucking games will be FPS, shit maybe nintendo will make a new mario FPS bros'n shit ?

hope they will make as good soundtrack as in the old games, ehh i just love that oldschool cyberpunk themes,

ahaha oh wow. I remember Syndicate Wars, it was an amazing game, I didn't clock it was that becoming an fps.

Surely anyone who remembers would want another Syndicate Wars and youngins have never heard of it? I guess if you want to make a visceral FPS that's visceral in its visceralness then a franchise is better than no franchise at all... probably same logic behind Not X-Com.

    FFS FPS? WTF? LMAO!

The original syndicate was a one of a kind awesome game. The mini-guns upgrade was insane!

Remember when EA make CC Renegade? You know, take the popular RTS game into the first person? [Blocked Image: https://migrationtest.mapcore.org/public/style_emoticons/default/mapcore_smilies/emot_shakehead.gif]

Anyway...I know I have the old disc somewhere in storage, but is there a good place to download the original version of the game that actually works on a modern operating system like WinXP/7 or even MaxOS Lion/Wollymammoth/Shadowcat or whatever?

Who decided to let the Hollywood hot shots dictate the direction of the game industry? This is getting ridiculous.

Really would've been badass if they made it third person, but you actually control a squad of 4 with one analog stick~
