It was really dumb of them to release a trailer when the game is still so unpolished and far way from being released. I'm betting that many of the issues pointed out already will be fixed, but most people that see this video won't understand that and will start caring less about the game. This is CS, besides Quake it's the game with the most hardcore and over protective community, and this trailer will just fuel their nerd rage.

Nevertheless I'm loving the new look of the maps, the detail is great, and I'm curious to see what the new game modes will be (looks like TDM or some sort o CTF)

So Valve doesn't have much hand in this right, it's mostly Hidden Path Ent developing it?

Heavily detailed maps, but the same "£$%^&*(! vehicle models again lol. I think it doesn't look so bad really, looks the same kind of detail as COD and people consider that to be looking old now, so what youre gonna do...

    Yes

That's still very simple (very Valve you will say) but looks really good to me.

I liked the old art style better. The new stuff currently looks like they cramped lots of wrong scaled buildings in the background. especially when targeting esports having too much noise is probably not a great idea.

I'm sure the competitive players will enjoy it but its a huge pass for me.

If it's a €20-30 release then I'm getting it. Although I'm not super psyched about it, but it's sort of nice if you want to play something really quick. Usually, that was CS for me but I don't really play it much these days.

I can really not see how anyone can be hyped by this, looks exactly like CS:S (with minor gfx upgrades ofc) to me. Also, the official trailer is so cheesy its unbelievable.

Haha, I would agree with you there. You have to remember that css has terrible bullet reg along with stupid hitbox lag, so if you're 3 feet from some one with your cross-hair pointing at their face, there's a good chance you might miss. Likewise, if you see an enemy and run behind cover, there's a good chance you'll die a second or two after you're behind a wall.

Hopefully this version will have fixed these problems.

css is awesome you all don't know what you're talking about

I think it's awesome, the registry just sucks a lot of the time. You have to know the system in order to aim at the right spots, as apposed to aiming at the person and accounting for movement.
