cfg folder.

cheers

Don't forget to -exec autoexec in launch perimiters OR exec autoexec in the console. Just incase it doesn't work / load everything properly.
-
Yeah I'll test tonight- cheers. I had it working fully but then valve changed what folder it was in with the gametokens update and it stopped working the same for me.
-
Ended up applying the config line by line in console. autoexec now runs from the userdata folder and I couldn't get it to fire.

' Have you tried the new location of the config files? The new location is under your Steam path/userdata/<Account ID>/730/local/cfg. BTW There muss be a plus befor the cvar in the command line. The launch option for "exec <config>" is "+exec <config>" '

Just type exec auto in console.

I don't like that they are forcing Nuke on players while removing one of the better comp maps.

what change do you like?

Also Prime Matchmaking soon.
I guess removing Inferno is good in the long run. The map needs a face lift as well as a counter to all the smokes going down on Banana.

It's not like moving Inferno to the reserves group is going to stop people playing it, I wouldn't really say they were 'forcing' people onto Nuke... I think its more for the next major tbh.

In order to access prime matchmaking you have to connect a phone number to your CSGO account, much like the escrow system implemented a couple of months ago.
When you do you will only (or mostly) be paired up with other users that are prime members. This is though to detour hackers and smurfs since they would have to get a phone number for each account they intend to use.
I don't know if this will solve anything, but it will probably "clean up" the community even more.

hopefully they won't add android authentication too- that's already fucked me up for selling items on the market.

Is a normal phone enough for Prime? I still don't have a smartphone due to privacy reasons and I'd hate it if after the market MM itself would get annoying for me as well.
As for the rotation changes: It was bound to happen. Imho both Inferno and Dust 2 need a little cooloff phase and small overhauls, so that's fine. What isn't fine is imho that Nuke - while certainly looking spectaculary - is too much detail for many older PCs to handle and has some design decisions that might break competitive play on it. Then again, without putting it into active duty you would never get enough data to actually fix it in time, so it is expected. I just hope they put priority on Nuke and improve it before the next mayor.

Haven't tried it yet, but it should be enough. It's probably just the number that you associate with your account, not the Steam application.

I'll look at it later but I think you give them the number, they send a text to that number with a specific code they ask you then. You enter that code, and you should be good to go. Since that's how it works with every other phone number identification I've seen...
( if you can't text you should change of phone ^^)On the long run that could however be a problem. You could have a new phone number already paired with another account and therefore couldn't pair your number with yours...
They will know the real identity of people with that at least, and could even prevent them to have two accounts if they have two phone numbers
