i have a bachelor in computer science, but hipster culture is just too cool for me.

formal request for this thread to be moved to the classics when it has run its course great post rick. I like Sentura's rantings. they always contain little nuggets of truth, even if they're blown way out of proportion sometimes

amazing, i always thought people unanimously thought i was bullshitting.

please don't take me for an idiot just because everyone else around here does.

It would help if you don't cite school papers when talking about the real world.

This thread is just wrapped in awesomeness from page 1 to 5. Now can someone tell me which valid counter argument it was that I said, cause that's my first reply in this thread

You know what happens when something isn't marketed like the next big thing?Mini Ninjas (first example to come to mind)

    then layoffs.

Or when you hit a bad patch: Pure, then Split/Second

    then layoffs.

    then studio closure.

Good read guy, keep up the quality discussions

    .

You can get a Bachelor of Computer Science without ever actually really coding. Typically universities are more focused on algorithms but not implementation. Is that the case for you?

for me it was more focused on system architecture. we had a few courses on algorithms/discrete math, but that was it.

Finished it earlier. An absolutely magnificent experience, and so great that they kept it short and therefore fresh throughout.

Had some truly amazing moments with the stranger I'd been partnered up with (or one of them anyway). Us sticking together for like an hour, but then getting lost from each other, and then finding back again. Was beautiful.
