Colonial Marines is a separate project entirely, nowt to do with us. And you know I can't Vilham it looks exciting though, Sega seem to be backing CA to the hilt on this one, massive investment in infrastructure and hiring some big guns to get this done.

We're actually hiring for quite a few positions at the moment aswell:

    Lighting Artist

    Senior Designer

    Senior / 3D Environment Artist

    Senior / 3D Character Artist

    Game Designer

    Level Designer

    FX Artist

Feel free to hit me up and I can make sure your stuff gets into the right hands.

i might give you a hit on one of those design positions, i think its nearly time for me to be moving on. Out of interest what is horsham like? Whats the clostest city/good town?

Heres a tip for people. Use a map. But still would like to know what its like, where do people generally go out?

Horsham is pretty quiet, its a fairly small town but with a big town centre with a lot of shops. A lot of people live in Brighton which is about a 45-1hr commute away, but ... its Brighton so lots of cool stuff happening all the time and its party central. If you want me to send your CV over, I'd recommend doing it quickly. After the Alien "announce" we received about 80 cv's in a day. I already have a bunch of art resume's and folios to forward on monday so get in quick!

Guess I need to type up a CV sharpish then.

or even a cover letter as i already have a CV.

BTW can anyone tell me is it good to apply for both game and level design position in the same application or will that reduce my chances?

While I wasn't intending on applying, since I'm a nublet, I thought the same thing.

Couldn't find any more info on what the roles entailed so it's hard to say.

i want a good "pure" aliens game so badly since i got so horribly burned by alien trilogy on the ps1 which got fantastic reviews in all the german print media ( 9/10 across the board ) but was veil garbage.

and dont go pitch me any of the avp stuff that shit aint aliens i want pure aliens !!!

some of the avp stuff is acceptable but as a whole all games movies and comics combined that BRAND has anti appeal to me !

I was more curious about what they consider a pure game designer. Kinda.

your portfolio is pretty dull though man, no offence but it doesn't seem all that creative. Hopefully you will land the job but perhaps you could polish your folio and make it all sparkly?

Unfortunately all my professional content is locked away where only perspective employers can view it. So the guys at creative will be able to see it. But you are right, and thats one of the reasons I think I probably won't get an interview. Im pretty much committed to having to stay on this project till its done when I can actually show some work.

like that personal stuff is from over 2 years ago. :embarrassed: hopefully should have more soon
