    awesome cant wait to play around with it

    its a smart/necessary move cant let epic and unity sponge up the entire market !

    Yep yep, this should also really help expand the amount of people using CE3 compared to CE2. The mod community behind CE2 is at a decent size but the amount of total conversion mods released with it is extremely small (if there's any out there.) I actually don't know of any that are released.

    Mechwarrior Living Legends is the one I can think of off the top of my head... (as a total conversion)

    Yeah and 3 of that team were picked up by Crytek in the past year.

    Forgot about MLL, had some interaction with one of the guys who worked (works?) on it in the past.

    I think one of the reasons for the small number of mods was simply do to support issues. Crytek will have a lot more investment with their CE3 SDK so continuous updates/support for it shouldn't be a problem, that's what I'm hoping anyway.
