What have you watched recently?

Just saw the new Spiderman, a lot of fun. Definitely recommend seeing it in theaters. Only complaint would be that the second half dragged a bit.

Finally went to see Dune at the cinema. I might go see it a second time.

Just saw The Last Duel.

Holy shit this movie got ruined in the editing room.

Spoiler 30-40 unnecessary and repetitive scenes, including a fifteen minute rape sequence that is repeated almost verbatim twice, with indistinguishable differences. A cinematic crime.

Dexter New Blood was a decent throwback at the then hit show.

Finally took the time to sit down cozy and watch Prospect last night. It’s not as good as the “best sci-fi since Moon” title card suggests, but it’s interesting. It’s a story of survival that leaves you with so many questions about world details.

It’s the most analog, in terms of tech, film in the genre I’ve seen in a while.

I’ve almost watched this movie about 10 times

This reminds me, is there any sci-fi's you guys seen recently that you think it's actually worth watching? The genre is plagued with shit movies, but every now and again there's one that really pops.

Life was pretty good, at least in the first half. Some Alien vibes but I remember didn’t keep up throughout.

Stowaway on Netflix was alright.

I know they are not films but I am hoping to get a good sci-fi fix with The Silent Sea on Netflix, there is also Nightflyers on there (from RR Martin).

Spider-Man No Way Home. I enjoyed how they resurrected characters from past series. I dunno how my friend prefers Far From Home but hey ?

Reacher, really good and fun for me. Tapers off toward the end unfortunately, but seems very well received it’s granted that uncle Jeff will sign for a couple more seasons at least.

You look at this guy and it makes you want to start doing push-ups and pull-ups.
