Speaking of Blade Runner
i think Crytek should be the ones to do it! I mean this is from an old competition but it looks awesome:

STEALTH
More *pure* stealth games
Like Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and MGS1.
Haven't seen one in a modern or futuristic setting in a while, or have I just missed a few titles?
Alright... stealth has been used in a couple of games for like... 1 chapter, or an area... But that's just as a gimmick to break up the pacing of the game. Real stealth that makes you go, omg... I cleared this area I'm so PRO! No one is suspecting anything but I just rewired blahblahblah and in 5 mins shit's gonna blow!
That stuff makes me feel way more badass than stuff like Bulletstorm where you're supposedly a mean mother fker. And feeling accomplishment when you do something is nearly always wanted in a game, right?
Single player - co-op with a bit of endgame MMO influence, special abilities
This is a long shot, but I usually don't like MMO's for a variety of reasons. Anyhow, perhaps I'd like it if it was something like this:
Starts of as a single player (or make that co-op?) experience like a decent RPG has that gradually turns into an engame MMO in which the setting is modern/futuristic like with special abilities.
The beginning has a nice opening, you might not even have special abilities at first. Also, not superman stuff... Something like the tv series "Heroes" but more subtle like in the movie "Push".
Not "you've been spawned into an ugly open world, go kill some rats". After the single player kind of experience where you've been introduced to the game and after a decent finale, the game starts to open up into endgame MMO. You're basically skipping the first big shitty half MMO's have. The environment should be immersive, believable. A city, scientific facilities, whatever. First normal, then stuff goes wrong, environment changes...?
Of decent single player RPG quality. Not, here's a plane... We put some shit onto it. The majority of players is apparantly ok with that nowadays, but all new MMO's suffer from it, there's no immersion at all.
So yeah, basically... the beginning puts you into the game in a nice way, it's awsome. You don't want to grind to get amazing gear or whatever, no rush. You're just playing the game! Gradually when you know what's going on you're getting abilities and by the end of it, you're thrown into the MMO aspect of the game.
In the MMO engame part there's instances, battlefields and the storyline continues with big battles.
So the whole beginning of your everyday MMO is bypassed and has decent storytelling. No grind, no shitty beginner quests. Just a nice single player experience and you use the character you developed in the MMO engame and it's all about having fun with friends and teamplay. See it like a prolonged single player game.
I'm not even sure I would like it, very experimental... Perhaps I would, I honestly don't know.
Or perhaps I just don't like MMO's as a whole?
I think if the best dev fit for doing a proper Blade Runner game these days would be Bioware (Or Team Bondi, if L.A. Noire turns out as awesome as it sounds), and then they should almost cut out the entire action part of the game, be 90% conversations and 10% action
. Actually any dev doing a Blade Runner game I'd be all for ![]()
This might be a bit dry, but I'd love to see a studio like Naughty Dog try and do a Bond game. Think they could knock it outta the park if they had enough creative freedom with the story line. Then again I'd actually rather see them do something completely new ![]()
GTA4 but an MMO, driving like Gran Turismo, everything dynamic, all buildings exploreable AND destructible and all of this for free. And better graphics.

A game with a good story
System shock 3 by irrational games plx
Quote from jaboo224I would love to see:Thief made by starbreeze (ala chronicals of riddick)
I like this one, I remember hunting down packs of hidden cigarettes in Riddick, I think they could handle Thief pretty ok, except for the part in the second to last level where Garrett would get in a walking mech and lay waste to the city.
I want valve to design a game with CryEngine3 ![]()
u suck hp, put it back
MY GAME WISH??? I want to walk into the store and see the ratio of console games and computer games reversed. I am about tired of it the way it is now.
I would love to see an MMO building game from blizzard that were all about user created content ![]()
Civ 5 graphics with Civ 2's gameplay.

You give people too much power and the 4chans of the world will take advantage of it.
Ah, no I was thinking more of the lines of cityville, except good.
Pong 2011. ![]()
Heavy Rain but with all the interactions removed. I think they could really be onto a totally new medium if they just pushed it further...
