People keep forgetting it's a beta, not a demo.

And you know for certain none of them will change upon release? There are thousands of petitions and polls and feedback sent to dice that they will only be morons not to fix. And if not fixed, well its still a great game to me. I can look past these small rubbish decisions. But I believe most will be addressed.

The game comes out in three weeks I doubt much is going to happen in terms of intentional design, or having the battlelog replaced with an internal browser or something like that. My problems with BF3 aren't really balance or bug issues...

    I don't see 4 man squad changing.

I know, thats really lame. it was lame in BC2 as well, but then again I never once had more than 4 people playing at a time. Well for BF3 however, they better at least get in game squad management. Its a huge step down without it. Especially when all they promote in the damn trailers is how teamwork oriented BF is. Well you cant have teamwork without squad management now can ya jack asses! Damn it dux, stop bringing up all the bad stuff. Its making me rant.

Four man squads are perfect. You don't need any more people than that, or the entire team could spawn off one person! Also, a tightly knit, well-oiled squad of 4 can kick an entire team's ass.

Just got off the beta on 360. I played a little on Thursday and wasn't blown away, but I think it was because it takes a while to adjust to the gameplay style. It's not like BC2 which I'm used to nowadays.

However, I have to say I am now really impressed. I played with 2 mates from uni, and we were pretty awesome at BC2 on 360 too. It was fucking awesome to play together and just totally kick ass. I'm actually really impressed with Operation Metro now too.

    Roll on BF release!

The factions look far too similar for my liking I actually ran up past to a guy thinking he was on my side and he shot me in the face.

That was my biggest grip with Bad Company 2. Sad to hear it's the same in BF3

I love the tactical flashlight, sniper scope reflection & laser sight effects but they have to tone down the flaslight effect a bit indoor and take it out from outdoor environment. Sorry but You can't get blind from a flashlight 5 meters from you on a sunny afternoon! So annoying!

I like the tactical flashlight effect indoors too.

The sniper scope effect is just ridiculous. Everyone in my squad consisting of friends thought it was a flashlight.... it's just silly atm. I would prefer that snipers instead had a more clearly visible muzzle flash.

Kinda wish they'd remove FF (Friendly Flashlighting ) or at least tone it down on friendly players. Had so many instances in the second phase of Metro where I would empty a clip in someone because they kept blinding me and I figured they were an enemy :G

    exactly same here

as for four ppl squad, for consoles it might be OK, but in conquest 64 (it's 17 squads!) they should make the squads bigger, IMO i love the squad system, but it should be MUCH MORE manage able

I find the whole squad thing extremely frustrating http://n4g.com/news/855904/dice-squads- ... nt-in-game

I have been trying to play with a friend of mine and we spend more time trying to get into the same squad than actually playing the game. Terrible

According to the Battlefield 3 community manager, zh1nt0, the squads can only be managed on Battlelog and not in the actual game. This means you can no longer create squads/make private squads while in game. You can only join or leave squads.

this shit is bullshit, loading screen in beta, says exactly opposite to that, it says you can manage your squad in a GAME AT ANY TIME !?

yeah, as the article states you can leave or join a squad. But not any squad, it picks one for you.

you can call that "manage your squad" all you want, but I wouldn't go that far.

It would be nice if, just this once, a developer stated why they implement certain features instead of letting a community manager leave a one sentence "tweet" (hate that word.)
