I got it through the origin client without too much hassle. Already 6% downloaded in the last couple minutes, too. Getting 3.2MBps.

Well that was annoying. Played a few rounds then tried to join my friends in a different squad, but it didn't work, just kept joining the same squad.... Then we all left to join a game together as a squad and the servers went down. Very annoying when tonight is the only night I can play this game until next week

Really annoying how you get kicked out the menu when you die.

Got around to playing the beta. Didn't have fun. I had control lag, and there was no audio at all except extremely quiet gunfire. Most of the time I died it was far too quick to react to being fired upon, and vice versa it didn't really feel that satisfying to gun down someone else because it just kinda felt like they had unluckily wandered somewhere I could see. Also I just kinda missed all my options and unlocks from Bad Company 2. Gonna go back to playing Binding of Isaac now...

Not a fan of this server browser, in your web browser thing at all. It looks great but they need to get more than one map going, not a massive fan of the metro one.

i don't get why you'd have a program like origin and then a separate web-based server browser, on top of which you need to install a plugin to actually use it.

I'm really liking the web browser launcher. Never have to launch the shitty past BF game long load time intro crap and laggy menus and server browser ever again!!!!

Played some more, had a better time. Turned down all the settings, just about, to their minimums, after this time launching fraps before the game and seeing that it was running at 15FPS. Now it runs at 30FPS, which I guess makes sense given the stated minimum requirement of an 8800GT, which is roughly similar in performance to my 4670. Got back into the Battlefield Groove alright, even got the "Squad Wipe" ribbon for killing a whole squad of dudes. Unfortunately, I was SO in that groove that I kept playing for about four rounds, and hit a really goddamn nasty memory leak by the feel of it. Started with audio stuttering, then the whole game stuttering and just being terrible. Since I was carrying my team up until that point that round took forever to end, too...

Also in front of the A M-COM on the first set of objectives, I fell through the ground once, and I saw an enemy do the same on the killcam after he had shot me. It's a dip or crater or something in the pavement, and we both just kinda slipped through it and ended up neck deep in the concrete. You can jump and wiggle and manage to get out though, at least.

I'm really interested in seeing how Metro is laid out to work with Conquest.

A generic game error was reported, please try again. ( code: 1 )

Edit, managed to get on a server. I never played a BF game before, so for me this is pure mayhem... lol. Will take a while to get used to.

Environments as a whole, are consistent and look pretty good.

Played some maches, and got some mixed thoughts (i've played puss3 ver, will try out PC ver tommorow)

this is sure beta, some big bugs there, like some times i just can't use sight view, lagy serwers (several times "ghost" killed me), unbreakable glass (knife and shoots can't do shit, and after second or two, one shoot and the glass is gone) can't invite a friend during a mach, bugy animation, and to be honest the graphics are pretty low, i now this is PS3 but still.

I'm a hardcore mode player, so playing this beta is pretty different for me,

    for good stuff, prone !!!!

i enjoyed the time for now, but after 3-4 maches played, i came back to BC2 to play another 3 with friend

BTW ! - can someone give me some info about Caspian Border serwers ?!

You know, I wish there was a bit of spawn protection, as it's getting pretty god damn frustrating when the enemy can camp your spawn with no problems and shoot your ass up before you notice the 2-3 pixels hiding in a bush shoot at you.

The more I play recent MP games, the more I love my Quake.
