arcana heart link is timing out for me.

Despite the name I'm way out of touch with japanese developments. Interesting to see another fighter contender (in it's 3rd iteration no less).

Taking a stab at "The Witcher", a game I havn't played yet and keep hearing all this hype around The Witcher 2 coming out in May, especially from Dragon Age haters. So to see what the fuzz is about I'm trying out the first game and boy oh boy this is quite complex right off the bat! 3 combat-styles, each one with its own talent tree, 5 attributes with talent trees, alchemy is nuts, etc. This is going to take a while...

Don't take what's said in that video too seriously. He over does it as usual for comedic effect. If you want help/tips for it Zyn just post. It's really obvious and easy which combat mode you need to use, though. Big nasty things you just hit down with the strong style, small you use fast on, etc. Don't forget to use your silver sword on monsters though or you'll be there all day. I found group style to be really awesome sauce midway through the game.

It has a slow start, that tests peoples patience to see if they deserve to experience the rest of the game. So stick with it.

    A good old fashioned rpg.

Still Starcraft2. It's so good, and I'm so bad at it.

That's a really stupid way to look at the game man! It's boring at the beginning, so how can people know whether or not the game will pick up?

    It does have an autosave.

...it just doesn't trigger except on map transitions in Shoc and CS.

If you've never played it co-op you're totally missing out.

    Absolutely.

It's quite funny really when you think about it. The game never had Multiplayer upon release and a quick patch later turns it into one of the best coop experiences to grace the PC. If this game gave blowjobs I'd be first in line.

I'm playing STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl and Arx Fatalis right now.

I'm experiencing weird glitches with Arx Fatalis, the screen turns black and the game freezes for a second, and if I continue to move I'm teleported to where I look. Interesting, but it isn't really game breaking and it doesn't happen too often thus far so I'm ok with this.

I'm playing Minecraft now. I'm verrrrrryyyyyy late to that party. But it's amazing. It's incredibly stupid and genius all in one. Kudos to Notch and his crew at Mojang. I finally started mining obsidian. Dare I enter The Nether?

In System Shock 2 instead of mouselook you drag bars on the screen to pan or lean/crouch. It also will likely run very poorly in DOSBox as one of the first ever polygonal 3d games, especially if you want to run it in 640x480 (and in its default 320x200 res reading text is just about impossible). It's worth it IMO, but it's a serious goddamn investment to learn how to play that game. System Shock 2 is much easier to get used to.

Arx Fatalis is awesome. One of the best rpg's that i've played.
