That it is, I got it when it came out, and beat it as a good guy and got halfway through an evil playthru and got burned out, came back to it a few days ago and now I'm pretty pumped for number 2.

Before I gave my borrowed PS3 back to my brother (He got out of bootcamp and went to the extended marines training stuff that allows him to have personal belongings again so he took it back before getting shipped out to Hawaii ) I bought Infamous on PSN. If you split the purchase with other people it can be pretty cheap, I put in $6 for it.

Splitting purchases in PSN? How does that work?

You can install a game bought on PSN on up to five PS3s.

Ah, ok. I thought you meant some official way of doing it, like steam once had with a few games. Good goin'

It's a legit thing. They disable it in some games like Warhawk but not for most stuff. If it wasn't cool then it'd be disabled all around.

so i finally got into deus ex (my first proper playthrough). i tried previously but i had a hard time getting past the first mission because it was so boring. it does pick up after that, and i really got into it when the plot started moving at full speed. however, i accidentally came across a half life 1 video walkthrough today, and even though i've played hl1 to death, it seemed infinitely more interesting than deus ex was last night. i appreciate everything deus ex does (the amount of THINGS YOU CAN DO IS AMAZING), the different paths for different playstyles, but there's just something missing...

it could no doubt benefit from high res textures, and even level objects that weren't just copy pasted (

how many splits in the story are there? i reached the point where you can either get caught with paul or fight with him (and i'm guessing you both get to hong kong this way) or you both get caught and end up in some sort of prison.

besides bulletstorm and deadspace 2 I'm finishing up...

    TALES OF MONKEY ISLAND

I feel like such an asshole for not playing the episodes as they were released, I started playing it late last year and god damn it's a worthy successor to a series that I have a TON of childhood nostalgia for.

Just finished Dead Space 2 a second time in fanatic mode this time. Some chapters are very hard in this way especially without appropriate weapons and without a new game +.

Game of the years for me :derp: (yes I know we are in february and this years will be awesome but...)

    Wow,

Killzone 3, Bulletstorm came out on the same day, both have almost the same ending, exact same outcome.

Playing Kane & Lynch right now. Buggy as hell, art falls apart technically (skinning issues, intersecting geometry, clipping issues) and the gameplay doesn't feel like it develops any further depth after the tutorial, but the Characterisations are just plain awesome and make up for it. Everytime i'm in a mission I feel the urge to get the characters and stage a movie

Dead Space Extraction on the PS3, very cool so far although I'm not used to having my movement taken away, I hate trying to grab stuff quickly with kinesis only for the camera to move suddenly and I can't face the right way again. Really damn annoying when you need to solve puzzles whilst enemies keep spawning and you have to fend them off whilst stationary, you'd be able to move if it was real!

Well what would you expect from a rail shooter made for the Wii?

I can't stand rail shooters, i think they are the most pointless game genre ever conceived by humanity.

I love rail shooters. House of the Dead Overkill is bar none best game on the Wii, and the House of the Dead arcade games were always my favorites when I used to go to the arcade with my brother. Dead Space Extraction has an issue particular to it, with the loot collection, that other games don't have. HotD has powerups that you can miss but they're much faster to get, you just shoot them, and they're typically extra points or something so it feels more fair and less frustrating that because you're on rails you missed something.
