I was planning on playing Call of Pripyat after finishing Skyrim but I finally started with God of War 3. What an epic game. The combat is fluid, the graphics are top notch and most of all, it's fucking brutal. I'm loving it. I also think it's the only game I've played in which QTE are put to good use.

Besides having a lot of fun with God of War 3, me and my wife started with Alan Wake on the Xbox 360. We both like it. The story is nice, the game looks beautifull and the atmosphere really gives you the feeling of being in his nightmare. You can pick it up at Play.com for 13 euro's or so. I highly recommand it!

Now I'm playing through Botanicula, super funny and charming little game, really enjoying it so far. I also love the fact that everything is very music based.

MMMmmmm.... I love games like Windosill. It's a funny little game, is it weird that I've played it two or three times? Every now and then I just play it.

Also, I recommend Brain Pipe to everyone It's not new to me but I love it. You can grab it on Steam.

Batman Arkham City

I finished dark soul, the end is sad and very quick new game + looks good, i started by a level I did the first time after 22h of game,sweet

Still have Demon's soul to finish, server will shut down soon but it's a too dificult game

Filling the time until Diablo 3 release by playing TERA, another glorious korean MMORPG that adds nothing new to the scene other than sluts and lolis. All females in the game likes to wear as little as possible, even heavy armor is pretty much steelplated bras and thongs, not afraid to show off their ass and titties as much as possible (no nudity though... just borderline) in all kinds of poses and actions, Elin is pedobait race, etc. The only difference is that the combat is FPS-like (manual aiming) and being able to reach max level without grinding for 100 millenias (which is RARE in a korean game). Thank fuck for G2PLAY ... and next Tuesday better get here quick.

just finished deus ex HR just like the first deus ex i like the sum better than any individual part of it. but i think there is too much flawed in it to really give it a pass

+i like everything about adam even his voice

+topical/current as fuck

+great "production design"

-combat bosses are too fucking hard must have died 100+ times on each one

-bosses and npcs need to shut the hell up during fboss fights (that goes for all games !)

-check points are in the wrong spots (do i really need an elevator ride and a cutscene each time i restart a boss ??? )

-core mechanics feel gimped so that "some" augmentations have a purpose.

-worst SSAO in business

-npc character models look ugly and move awkward (i loled at the chinese hooker with the uv seam on the chin )

-sucky frame rate on consoles like 15-20 fps in alot of places! there is no excuse for that if you know your target hardware !

-scaleform gui is super unresponsive takes a second or 2 to open even the "QUICK" select radial menu.

-pre rendered ingame cutscenes look worse than real-time 3d and WAY worse than the awesome pre rendered trailer despite displaying the "same" moments 0_o wtf ?

-cant pick up ammo for empty guns if inventory is full ( just load em straight into the gun damn it D: )

-way too low fov for a stealth game.

-the game should pause while you look for items in containers (i got instant killed so many times by the bosses because the container gui was too slow D: ) since nobody in the game cares about you stealing shit (unlike you hacking stuff) it should have made no difference in the overall design to change this !

-why isnt every weapons upgrade compatible with every gun ? i wanted to build a damn uber revolver hmmk please let me ! ... and while we are at it stackable !

-too many square boring grey brown cooridors and in general unimaginative locations

-crates and crate like boxy props everywhere D:

with bosses = 6/10

without bosses it would be a = 9/10

You should have played on the pc, warby. Obviously gameplay cons you've listed would remain but performance and other visual issues (for the most part) are pretty much non-existent. Including fov which you can change from the options screen. Started playing through it again a few days ago actually.

And the boss fights were outsourced, which is why they're a mess and don't fit well with the rest of the game.

I've been playing Gears of War 2 multiplayer. Went from level 1 to 41 in about a week and a half I think

trying to simultaneously wrap up Bastion, Skyrim, and Mass Effect 3 currently. I am 2 or 3 levels away from the ending in bastion, and love it. bought it opening week, but then skyrim came out, and friends were playing Halo Reach...

anyhow, good times, wish I had more time to play. will try to play some Spiral Knights sometime this week, hopefully. anyone else play that here?

MMMmm... Bastion is SO GOOD! I've played Spiral Knights before, it's ok. I think I was hoping for something... less MMO ish when I tried it. Worth a look though, its decent fun, especially with friends.

I have the freedom Unite version I play on my PSP just before sleep. having already 45 h of play in 1 month

Finished I Am Alive. Pretty cool gameplay, somethimes iffy level design though (not knowing where to go) and an awful ending. But overall still pretty enjoyable and with a price tag of 1200MS I definitely got my moneys worth. Finished it in about 5h30.

I'm inclined to recommend it but you'll probably only like it if you're into these kind of games, there are some frustrations here and there

Is that the one where you can lose limbs and keep fighting? Rolling around as a head might be fun
