So i've just finished it, it is a solid game, but very frustrating at some times

as i said before QTE here are fucking annoying - i don't know why (maybe i was playing on normal) when i have QTE i just got fucking symobol not a KEY desplayed, so i die and i need to check in options what i need to actually press - this is just ridiculous

cover system is - wait, there is cover system here ? . . . .

and the pacing is off a lil bit, it's too much shooting imo

but i feels kinda Tomb Raiderish, good game over all

Not much further than before here, just got to some big door with symbols on it after meeting my homies for the first time. I'm still loving the atmosphere, but I got a bit annoyed with the wolves constantly respawning even if I only went like round the corner. I was trying to explore the area and was thinking "Fucking AGAIN?!?!" when I heard those shits for the 10th time.

Sorry for the gravedig, but since the recent release of the "definitive edition" I was curious to compare it to the PC (which is the version I will buy when I get said machine).

I'm quite annoyed in seeing that the PC version is generally washed out compared to the "next-gen", one would think that the Definitive Edition would be basically a porting of the PC version, and detail wise they stack up nicely, but it's noticeable a difference in color saturation and shader prominence (eg: the bit in the pipe tunnel –pretty noticeable– as well as cut scenes closeups of Lara's face).

    Thoughts?

I liked the latest TR, but I don't think any of the later games are a patch on the original and partcularly TR2 (one of the best PC games I've played... maybe?!). Anyone agree? Do you have any idea why the originals were so good, and the later ones a bit lacklustre? Maybe it's the shift from puzzles and exploration to shooting everything. Hmmmm
