Aye, pretty excited about this one. Great to see them finally trying to take the franchise somewhere else, and with Guardian of Light it shows that they have good people to execute on it.

the lighting in the first shot makes it seem like a photograph more than ingame graphics. i didn't think we were so far ahead on photorealistic lighting.

While looking at the video I couldn't stop thinking of how much it reminds me Final Fantasy, I'm still not sure if this is a good thing or not...

It's most likely SQEX Japan that made this trailer, much like they did all the Deus Ex ones.

All the same, it's a bold new step for the age old franchise, so I'll be paying attention this time around more than before.

just saw the trailer now, it's well done. i also like how they're shifting the series towards something darker. and was i the only one thinking bermuda?

It's a survival game now, so darker ambiance is logical for me.
