Tim Burton's Batmans FTW!

They are good but yeah, I fell asleep in The Dark Knight which doesn't exactly say much..

I dunno man, I really love the more mature, realistic and serious tone of the reboot. I re-watched the Burton one with the Penguin last year and I found it ridiculous and too much of a joke. It was cool when I was younger, but now...eh.

Yeah, I watched the two first Tim Burton's and they were quite laughable, and the third one I stopped after a few minutes. Didn't like Batman Begins but the Dark Knight was cool thanks to the Joker. Batman is nothing without that guy!

Dark Knight was awful I'll take mino's comment one further and say it is THE most overrated film I've ever seen.

My problem with it is they give it a serious/realistic tone, then all this stupid shit happens that makes no sense. Like people tethered to airplanes and being yanked out of a window by it.

Batman Begins was far superior IMHO, since ridiculous shit doesn't happen constantly. And the plot was much more interesting, straightforward, and coherent.

Joker was the only thing that was decent about DK, and well, Heath is dead.

Highly overrated indeed. The Dark Knight is a clusterfuck imo. I don't like how they tried to force depth and meaning into the story. It's supposed to be a popcorn flick god damnit.

Ironicaly this seems why it gets so much praise. But it's just wrong. There are way better action films and there are way better films with meaning. All the hype is created by teenagers who don't know shit and probably refuse to watch anything from before 2005.

I thought "Batman Begins" was mediocre, but "The Dark Knight" is really cool. What do I know though, I'm just a teenager caught inside a man's body...

I liked Batman Begins more, the Dark Knight would've been better if it hadn't tried to throw so much stuff in it. Both were good, though.

I liked them both. Really one of the better Comic-"reinterpretations". Then again I also liked the new Spiderman movies and everyone seems to hate them, so consider me a teenager as well.

I never liked Batman until Batman Begins/Dark Knight. Ninja Turtles FTW

I think he could learn a thing or two with District 9! Sorry to derail the thread but that's my definition of a fun movie: it's funny, it's clever and best of all, it's not pretentious.

I also fell asleep watching dark knight in the theater. Not only did I not like the film but I got tired of Heath Ledger's super affected joker performance. That and batman's untreated throat cancer, yeesh.

I really liked those movies. For me its a bit a surprise that almost everybody hates it :s
