Will definitely get this tho, playing God of War 1 and 2 remastered HD was awesome so this is a must get!

Yeah baby! I got Shadow of the Colossus right at the end of the PS2's life and as I had a PS3 alluring me I never really got into it. Hopefully the re-release will address the technical limitations the original had (low frame rate, blurry textures, resolution) which will be enough for me to get into what is meant to be a very awesome and emotional game. 
Now that's finally a reason to buy a PS3. I never got around to finishing Shadow of the Colossus but it had one of the best environment art in PS2 games!
@HP: 60£ for a used copy? WTF? You can get a new one for 18 USD...
lol, there's plenty of reasons to buy a ps3, this is just one more! 
And yeah, aparently there's some more places with SoC resurfacing. But a few months ago was impossible to find new copies, that's when the used copies get very expensive. Same is happening with games like MGS3 substance, etc.
Yeah I treasure the fuck out of my copy of Subsistence, because playing MGS3 with the old-style camera is just downright inferior. So glad I paid top dollar for it when it came out. I'm continuing to hope they do a proper MGS collection though, with the (better IMO) GameCube version of MGS1 included. Some bastard recently
Really looking forward to SotC in HD, though. There's a Slow on the draw there HP.

I found the teaser a bit weird, the image is very very washed out. I hope the games are not like that, I luvez my contrast.

They are, and their (rather awesome-looking) upcoming game for the PS3 has the same style. It's kind of their signature thing, with the outdoor environments having a sun-bleached watercolour look. I have to admit it did jar with me a little when I first tried SotC, but you quickly learn to appreciate it.

I have refrained from playing my copy of shadow of the colossus since I first heard the HD remake rumor.
What kind of world is this set in? Is Ico, SOTC and Guardian set in the same world? The environments look very similar. And isn't the last guardian essentially Ico with a chimaera instead of a girl? I haven't played any of these games yet, so I have absolutely no idea about this. Looking forward to the HD remake, I've heard nothing but praise for these games since they were released.
Apparently Shadow of the Colossus' player/horse relationship was the inspiration for The Last Guardian, but yeah when you think about it all three games have that element of strong companionship (amongst other similarities). However I don't believe there's any connection between the games other than them being stylistically very similar — I do recall Shadow of the Colossus being described as Ico's spiritual sequel.
