Playing Costume Quest, really liking it. Not super challenging, but its just so super cozy and charming that it doesn't really matter for me.

Mino's UDK piece made me take Mirror's Edge for another spin. Patiently waiting for a sequel.

Well, I’m in Japan right now (going back tomorrow) and in order to get my fix I had to pop into arcades, so I’ve been playing my Japanese shootan and fightan games almost exclusively. Finished DoDonPachi Daifukkatsu 1CC (both loops and Hibachi), finished Mushihime-Sama Futari Black Label 1CC with 3 extends (counter below 100,000 though), and looped Progear (but died on 2-2). Gaijins in your arcade, completing your games.

Also played BlazBlue: Continuum Shift (and CS2) and Arcana Heart 3 which I had to begrudgingly admit is probably the best air-dasher fighter out there after Guilty Gear.

    This has all been noise.

Just finished bioschock 2, I was really impressed and I really love it Many small things that are improved that make the game more fun to play (like carrying a weapon with a plasmid, exit the old way to pirat mechanism, melee attack with all weapon, etc...)

Bought it really cheap months ago but never got around to playing it. Been playing all weekend. What an amazing game. Just wish there was less conversation but the universe is so well crafted that it's ok. Bioware really know their shit!

Downloaded an indie game called Super Crate Box that was linked on RPS. My teeth still hurt from how hard I was clenching them trying to dodge mobs while collecting crates. I don't think I can play this game anymore, too stressful. Not planning on getting Super Meat Boy either.

It's not that man, I'm a fan of Metal Gear Solid and DeusEx, you never saw me complain about the long dialogues and cutscenes on those. I just don't like Biowares games, don't know why.

That's really strange. I think Mass Effect at least should have a certain appeal to you.

Yeah I know! I tried to play Mass Effect, but after 5 hours somehow I was getting really tired of it. I really need to give it another try, maybe I just wasn't In the mood. (But there sure is a lot of bla bla in that game! ;D)

Saren is the coolest villain ever.

I like all Biowares games before KOTOR. I really disliked KOTOR. Looking forward to trying Mass Effect eventually though.

Not sure if you'll really like anything Bioware is doing then. Other than changing how combat works, every Bioware game has played exactly the same outside of combat as KOTOR, just with different stories. Not that I'm complaining, because I enjoy the results.

ME2 retroactively makes ME1 a bad game, that's how much they improved on it. I can't go back to ME1 now at all. I tried and was all like "UGH THIS INVENTORY SYSTEM AND NO VANGUARD CHARGE ABILITY" and quit.

Loads of people don't agree with that, since they chopped off a lot of RPG elements in ME2.
