lol PUSS3
-
So yestarday i came back home, and today i enjoyed my PUSS3, and 1st thing i did was downloading LIMBO - crazy shit this game is, i love it !
-
It looks nice, but I couldn't get on with it at all.
-
-
I can see people enjoying it for the aesthetics alone. But I didn't like the puzzles or platforming. And it's a puzzle platformer.
The level design reminds me of those flash games where you have to remember an increasingly long colour sequence.
-
wow you must clearly be trolling, how can you not like a game that i like??!?!?!?!
-
such a disapointment, i saw a sentura response to an indie game that sold well, and my heart skipped a beat; i come in and find this shit.
can we set up a blogsite, like that one insomniac.whatever, just to troll everybody with senturas opinions. that would be awesome.
-
Man, it's been ages since I've been on insomnia.ac. He's made the forums pay to view to hide the megalomania.

Limbo review reads like my post… Also, I like the totally intentional way his reviews also satirise indie “bums” fascination with tiny, frustrating to read 3x3 fonts.
I do like his article on arcade culture though, back before he got banned from shmups.com and was kind of sane.

/edit beat me to it, i was too busy reading some of the reviews.
the thing about those faggots is that i really don't get what they want; everything to be a kooky jap game? everything to be permanently underground and the creators never see any success? do they want the downfall of the videogame media?
i can only agree on the downfall of the videogame media and the culture they have spawned.
but the reviews, write ups, blurbs, whatever you want to call them delve into such pompous high-brow faggotry that it's hard to take them seriously.
nobody cares if you studied philosophy unless you can apply that knowledge in a meaningful and udnerstandable way to the masses that you are writing for. i could go into a 20 page diatribe about how important it is to correctly tune a guitar or wire a house and how that directly relates to the public's misunderstanding of Braid, but that would just make me look like a prick.
or maybe they just want to piss people off? make them write angry posts on forums like this one.. but then the articles are carefully written and often self-deprecating because they know the amount of trolling and blatant provocation going on. so what's the deal?
as for the limbo review, he raises some interesting points, but then slams portal for being praised, as if it's the games fault that it was praised? and looking at it from todays point of view, yet elsewhere on the site they review "the first game ever made" and insist that it would be unfair and impossible to review it from todays mindset, and that we must *cue wavy lines* travel back in time.
i dunno, they just seem like a bunch of seriously butthurt faggot weeaboos. so let's get sentura a job on the writing staff.
-
lmao i was joking
also i despise game reviewers because of how bad game journalism is handled present day. it's all about opinion rather than listing what a game actually does in a relatively objective fashion. believe me i have no intent of writing reviews, ever. every idiot can write, "herp derp i like this gaem cuz it's fun. i recommend!". thanks, genius, real fucking informative.
on the topic of insomniac, it makes me wonder why he hasn't reviewed aquaria...
and lol at him asking for required reading to post on a forum.
oh and he kinds reminds me of rick in the sense that he calls everyone a "fagot". actually his overall writing style reminds me of rick

If it's all a joke it's a well done one. I remember reading the forum and I could not for the love of god understand why anyone would post there let alone pay money. There is really no discussion to be had, you just get banned over nothing and the owner is the biggest prick online. they only worthwhile articles worth reading are those about arcade gaming http://insomnia.ac/commentary/arcade_culture/ .
-
Icy hates Cave Story and their roleplaying games, which no self-respecting weeaboo would do, so I imagine it's just the easiest source for obscure titles to name drop. He's almost like Auntie Pixelante's counter-part, where he's the voice for complex and skill-orientated games. Only instead of having to sift through blog updates of random vagina pictures and twitter drama, it’s philosophy copy and paste and women hate.

Yeah, it's a good article. And as an arcade nerd I do think he does sum up the whole experience very well.

that "woman hate" article was pretty funny, and i actually agree on it in large parts, but i think this is happening regardless of gender. there's just so much bullshit being written, and it's sad. but holy shit he rages hard.

but i had never heard of any of those cunts until i read his article. the faggot acts like women have taken over wearing crochless panties and fingering themselves with xbox controllers as they systematically destroy everything we love about videogame journalism, which is nothing.
it comes off as a desperate cry for attention. i bet he was kicking himself when the penny arcade guys did the dickwolves thing.
HEY GUYS I APPROVE OF RAPE CAN I HAVE ATTENTION YET.
what a faggot.
