This is looking totally friggin' sweet! I love pirate games, I love blue skies, I love stylised cartoony graphics, and I love seeing a bunch of guys as talented as you lot taking the plunge into the indie scene

As mentioned the anims are holding back the presentation a little in their current state, but they're perfectly adequate for a prototype. Everything else is looking spot on. What is your plan of action with this; are you guys still employed elsewhere or is this now a full time effort for you?

I think what you guys have done so far is looking absolutely ace, and I wish you all the best of luck getting that Unity Pro prize!

If the prototype strikes a chord it might become a full time effort for us!

I like how the "Featured Post" section bounces from right to left

Anyway, when I look at the screenshots everything looks stretched vertically for some reason. I know that's not the case but the look of the game really makes you see it like that. Lookin good tho

I just saw the new screenshots and I gotta say this main character girl doesn't fit in your beautiful world design at all. I would go with a lot more stylized design, something along the lines of TF2, clear silhouettes etc.

Think about TF2'ish fat pirate girl with fake beard. Do it.

. Actually May is a good spunky sky pirate reference, lots of subtle things (like her crow's nest air dash animation), but probably too late now.

Tried it briefly (got the remote) through the browser, seems pretty cool

I'm gonna try the download version later, the browser version was laggy at times, fucking up my mouse-control.

After that Ill try and give you some feedback, solid work from what I've seen!!

I downloaded the exe for windows and then had no idea what I was doing because all the controls were shown for the 360 controller ;( Soon figured it all out though as it was relatively simple.

Played for about 15 minutes and filled in the survey.

    Pros:

    Looks great

Smooth as a greased frying pan

Double jumping around like an idiot is rather enjoyable

The start was fun, shooting the cannons

Bringing your ship in with the remote was pretty groovy to watch. Even if I had to spam my keys to find out the right buttons!

The island was really cool to explore, I'd like some more floating rocks to platform on and stuff though. Can you get on top of the Observatory? I'd like to be able to go high up and look down at the island.

    Cons:

The camera moved around too much on the intro scenes, I felt sick

Your sword attacks knock away the pickups, gets annoying having to fetch them when they fall off an edge

Everyone walks around like they have a broom up their ass

Too much dialogue at times, I found myself just skipping through it on occasion

Quit your bitch tits face. Its like 80mb and took 2 seconds to drag onto my desktop.
