    I saw this on the news tonight, I can't believe that after all this mystery surrounding his death it would turn out to be a disease like malaria that killed him! I'm quite disappointed, I'd always satisfied myself he'd died from his wounds in battle with the nubians

    I guess it's not 100% that this was the way he met his maker but it would certainly explain some of the things found on him in the Valley Of The Kings...

    afaik a lot of egyptians at that time had bone problems due to only eating meat =)
