GT review was a bit on the negative size, even tho 8.1 is a nice score. From what I can see, you guys are getting great reviews so far! Congratulations

oh and btw, do we have a Mapcore easteregg on it? We'd better!

Yeah the GT review started off a little on the whine-side, but at the end there he had only good things to say about it.

Maybe he wrote the review while playing the game and at the end he started to like it?

I dunno why you're getting defensive over it considering it happens in basically every game with ragdolls ever, but it's not special because it's a ragdoll flapping around, it's "special" because of the chance pose it ended up in which is funny.

Actually though, KL2's ragdolls seemed a bit more active than most games. Half the time I looked at one the head was slightly rocking back and forth, or something like that.

Welp, just finished the SP on Extreme. Took about 9.5hrs according to Steam. Reallllly loved the environments and characters visually and the fullscreen visual effects. Always made me go 'wow' all throughout. The levels are very gritty and all the props and details are at all the right places...the puddles, the junk, etc. Characters have animated normal maps which is always nice to see since I've seen in in Uncharted =P. Other than that, as others have said, gameplay is pretty run of the mill, but much improved over K&L 1. It got repetitive, and HARD on extreme, but as with all things on high difficulty, it's satisfying once you get through a part you're stuck on. The over the shoulders handheld cam and screen artifacts and such though really added to the firefights though. It made them that much more intense, especially combined with the loud guns and such. So for the next one, more variety...stealth takedowns, robberies, etc.! Also, I was kinda sad that Lynch didn't have a schizophrenic episode or something...we're being teased at some parts like with the smoke in the building or other parts where he seems to be starting to act out, but nothing ever materializes.

Regarding Lynch's mental state, then there were ideas for some really cool and insane levels at one point, but they didn't really fit the entire documentary/somebody filming them vibe of story telling.

Haha, wtf =P. Us game developers, always so mature ;D.

That's too bad about those sequences, would have been nice! It's cool that in the credits they listed your nicknames as well Warby, Zacker and Mazy...you were like the only ones with that priviledge it seems haha.

    Mapper creds

Actually everybody calls me Mazy at IO, so it's actually become an actual real life nickname. I couldn't stop calling Warby "Soenke" when he was working here though, even he called me Mazy. Kinda weird, all that.
