If you don't release the source for this map or tell us how you went about making it, I may very well cry like a little girl.

thats much better but still those white lights hanging from the top could cast a brighter spot on the ground. ground is low on contrast if you watch the white spotlights. the lights from the advertisements are nice!

Nice stuff Darth Brush but I think the lighting needs more shape.

There are lamps hanging from the ceiling but you can hardly notice any light_spot shapes. In the second shot you got white lamps and I'd warn you not to overuse them. Generaly, when you see a plain white lamp you expect the surrouding area to be very lit and that's not the case in the screenshot. It's just disturbing to the eyes to look at a full bright lamp with little to no brightness at all around. This is the trick to make good dark maps but only a few mappers seem to realise it.

I like the advertisement signs but the white lights surrounding them are very disturbing, as I said before. I'd recommend using an actual lamp texture instead of plain white and ONLY on the 90º faces.

The map has a lot of potential but the lighting is just too fake to make it an eye candy. Try reading this, it will help you a lot I believe: http://help.hourences.com/booklighting.htm

Very nice ! I think you should also try to add a bit more diversity to the floor, people usually forget how important it is ! Try to use a different texture around the pillars for example

i dunno - that whole thing stinks of a lack of continuity - nothing ties in with anything else - it seems so random and; the colours are bizarre and harsh and look very horrible on this monitor - maybe they are more saturated on yours but damn, they look awful here

I agree with Rick, too many colors. The very ugly yellowish greenish color of the floor and some walls isnt helping either. You should pick a number of texture and lighting colors that would fit the theme and stick to them.

    Geometry is cool.

Yes - also too many lights, every surface is lit and glows, even the ceiling which is "above" the lamps. I think some more gloomy areas would make it look better.

I think the radius of the lights that shine on the curved walls next to the tracks is still too big, looks wrong, but overall much better
