That was an unexpected, but very welcome, turn of events

im liking this a whole lot more now

I was excited to see new roots to 'Alien' from the master himself. More sci-fi is welcome, but consider me disappointed.

I didnt know being disappointed meant I was complaining

And a new alien from Ridley Scott would be no rehash. I am still excited to see what this new movie is going to be, its better than canning the project all together. however, it was not the movie they intended to make and completely robbed us from our expectations for a new alien. Those who were looking forward to it.

It was Ridley Scott, making another Alien movie man... But oh well, it's still a sci-fi with "alien dna" on it, whatever the fuck that means!

Seriously, Alien 3 IMO was good, why yoo all think it was shit !?

ALien 4 and AVP was a MISTAKE

for the prequel, i just can't wait and i'm not afraid, some part of me is sure it will have that Alien/s feel and story

I liked Alien 4 better than Alien 3, once you accept the superhorrible cloning stuff it's quite alright even :embarrassed:

But alien 4 lost all the Alienish look and feel, Alien 3 was still THAT Alien, the same feel and look

Aye agreed, but Alien 4 was enjoyable and had the Jeunet look and feel instead

errr Alien 4 is my second favorite one...precisely because of the look.

I disagree, you should watch 3 and 4 just to give you a reality check on how good the first two are.
