Tried playing games on a tube tv with my ps3, was fucking aweful. Luckily my pc monitor has 2 imputs, one of them DVI-D, and ps3 allows audio over the AV output.

I just finished the game!! I never finished Crysis 1, so that makes this a better game.

ahaha HP that's just so wrong man.... I don't know what the figures are like today, but in christmas 09 the most common size for a tv to play games on was still 32". Considering those could only ever be 720p, it's just poor design to not provide for a text upscale if you don't have a 1080p....

my tvs 32" it does 1080p, I know that because the PS3 starts up in 1080p

Okay so I've been hesitate to go online because of the extensive hacking...

I finally decide to give it a try, join a server and I'm instantly faced with a guy blasting away while invisible with armour mode on. And this because he changed a config-file, quite simply one might add.

This is complete and utter bullshit. Lost all respect for the MP-department on this.

Crysis 2 is probably the disappointment of the year I'm afraid Solid SP-gameplay and graphics, sure, but the game features a nonsensical story and dreadful multiplayer which, of course, can't be ignored.

I'll be interested in seeing what both dx11 and the work you guys are doing with it will bring to the game. Patiently waiting until then

Whoever did trackview work in this game should watch two and a half men upside down.

Haha can you point out the specific parts? (I didn't work on them but I'd like to hear some feedback none the less)

It is part of Sandbox and used to animate objects. This could be anything from a sophisticated "cutscene" to moving an object from point A to point B.

Also, you don't have to shoot his weakspot for terrible, terrible damage, you can just spam him with rockets!!

Stealth -> Run behind -> Armour -> Cover back in C4 -> Stealth -> Run Away -> Detonate

Then you'll have your C4 restocked within minutes if you explore properly.

Finished this the other day, ending was a bit of a let-down.

Not story wise, but why cant things be more interactive than just pushing buttons to make your character crawl?

Overall I did actually enjoy this game after I got over the initial shock of the jump between it and Crysis 1. It does also unquestionably get better once you get to the aliens.

    i preferred the humans

also the way metal gear solid 4 did their crawling cutscene thing was amazing, it made you feel like you were actually working hard to crawl along the ground

The interactive cutscene I hated the most was when the bridge

    Quote

    exploded

, because it cut from gameplay to EPIC SCRIPTED RUNNING AND JUMPING and I was like "oh cool, the game plays itself now, ill have a drink of water", then at the end of this epic marathon the game gave me a 5 second window to press F to HOLD ON, which I didn't since I was busy drinking water, so I fell to my death, then got to replay the entire bridge sequence. That's when my super-abuse of invisible-mode started.
