My copy finished downloading at like 2:30am so I only played a few minutes of it. Liked the opening, nice little send off to the first. I think I was more awestruck when I saw Jester in the opening scene of Crysis than the marines in Crysis 2 but there's no denying Crysis 2 looks damned impressive. Not sure what would look better to me if I was able to compare side by side.

Working on my shitting portfolio so I'll have to wait to play more tonight.

Congrats on the release you guys, now get to work on number three

I just started playing it and I got freaked out when i could feel my desk vibrating when playing it, only to realize 5 minutes later that its because I have an xbox controller plugged in. So i picked up the xbox controller and suddenly all the "Press X to duck" stuff used the Xbox icons instead. flawless integration -> i love.

Anyways, then I got an nvidia bugout and i had to restart my pc

lol this would actually had been good if you hadn't noticed the controller. "this game is so good my desk is vibrating"

If you have a powerful enough sub, it totally could with all the quakes and splosions.

Then it gets even more realistic when your neighbours bang on your door to turn it down

Kinda liking it so far. I don't feel comfortable with the new suit yet however... I think the sprint is too slow compared to Crysis 1 and drains too quickly. Right now it's alot easier just sitting down in a good spot and picking everyone off then to use more agility and dart around the battlefield. Also, I want to reload when I sprint! I'm not a supersoldier for nothing dammits!

Played a little more (I just got outside), Crysis definitely had superior graphics, not seeing a whole lot of detail normals/spec maps used which would add a lot to the textures I think. Will post my thoughts on gameplay when I'm a bit further.

Yeap that one works. The previous one had a "_2" on it that we had to rename.
