I didn't like that much, especially disappointed at the graphics, very few settings and even at hardcore it looks like the old UT3 games, not nearly as sharp as Crysis, and a very low FOV.

Did enjoy super-jumping, gives you much more options for flanking, and ads cool vertical gameplay.

I can't even get in either. Thought it used a gamespy login, and I know I have one of those (from, you know, back in '98 when everyone did...) but can't log in with it. The forgotten password opens up mycrysis.com, so made an account there, still wont log in. Doesn't even toss an error or anything, the login/password form just resets to blank again.

Meh... Not hugely interested in the MP anyway, only downloaded it on the slim hope that they forgot to remove the editor it. And they didn't. Heres to waiting 3 more weeks...

The game looks AMAZING and it runs super smooth on my 4 year old rig. MP also seems to be quite fun. What bothers me a little is the small fov. Makes me feel dizzy and disoriented as i'm sitting so close to the screen when playing on PC. I hope it can be changed in the full game.

Hey peeps, just so you know you can change the Fov, just google it. (Even though personally I think the default is fine, but odds are that I just got used to it)

Dare I say, I don't mind the FOV too. I jumped into Crysis: Warhead today to compare a bit, and I found the higher FOv more jarring lol.

I have played some more of it now and it really gave me the urge to purchase... Bulletstorm.

I could rant on and on about the small details that made me not like this but to sum it pretty well: it didn't feel right. The gunplay was bland as fuck. "Ratatatata" right on target, no need to compensate or fire in bursts etc.

The player control didn't feel tight and I thought that your movementspeed was kind of sluggish compared to Crysis 1 (especially when strafing). The format of the MP didn't sit well with me either, I would've appreciated multiplayer modes more akin to Squad Rush from BC2. I feel that kind of MP plays more into the "sandbox" type of gameplay (i.e. you spawn on different points and one team tries to assault). Now everyone is just running around like chickens shooting eachother in the back.

EDIT: But I am looking forward to SP! Loved Crysis and Warhead.

I've no interest in Crysis 2 multiplayer and think it may compromise my enjoyment of having everything introduced to me by the single-player story so am anxiously awaiting a single-player release. That's what Crysis has always been about, anyway.

tried creating account, says my email is already taken, went to mycrysis.com where they say i don't have anything registered on that mail account, tried using my other mail, says the account name is already taken, i then try to use a different account name but now it says my other email is already registered

I had the same account creation problems. What I finally did was make a dummy name that I was pretty sure wasn't taken, using a fake email address (eg. [email protected]) through the whole "create account" in-game.

    Boom. Got in just fine...

I don't get the picture the guy posted in that thread. Is he trying to show that Crysis 2 looks much better than Crysis 1? Because that's what the picture seems to show (whereas in reality they're about equal graphically from what I can see).

I can't login. It says I'm not online.

WELL IF THAT IS TRUE MR. GAMESPY, HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT I CAN POST ON THIS INTERNET MESSAGE BOARD???

Played the demo for a bit and I love it. The graphics get a bit overwhelming sometimes with all the bloom, high contrasts, details everywhere and players looking all the same.

The controls are really smooth and the nanosuit powers rule.

    Good job guys

They are probably, they fill up really quickly. Just keep trying and you should be set.

I've noticed that sometimes when I try and connect to a server, either I'll get the 'server full' message, which I assume to be true, or I get a 'lost connection to server' type message. Sometimes this keeps happening to the point I just exit the demo and wait a few hours. One thing that seems to work is to make sure you cancel your search for servers before trying to join a server.

For some reason though, every North American server I join never starts the game, regardless if 12 players are in or not. I've always had to play on a euro one...
