Cool last video, I'm pretty eager to try it out
Quote":1kv50uqq]It looks alright tbh. Problem is that we've been watching the same level for years now. I'm sure this game will blow our minds not only graphically, but the plot will be awesome as well as the gameplay. It's a Remedy game!!!!
Maybe not technically. But style, atmosphere and presentation > fancy tech any day. Of course both combines = win, not many do tho

Man that video has turned me on. Good to see Max Payne's dynamic difficulty has survived too.

That felt more like a retailer targeted video with the narrative explaining why it's going to be a good product. However, the game is looking much more interesting now and I'm officially excited for it.
It's definitely different from Heavy Rain (not that we didn't know that already) but I'm glad the 360 has its own "sophisticated" style game that could actually sell respectably well given it does not have "Halo" "Gears" "___ of ___" "Modern" or "2" or "III" etc in its name.
:optimistic:

Under The Dome: The Game

Yeah now we've seen more proper gameplay I'm officially psyched. I was reading about it in a magazine earlier too and it's much more of a psychological horror thriller than I was expecting — comparisons to Resident Evil and Silent Hill were frequently being drawn. For some reason I always had it in my head as a Max Payne-esque action game.
Some of the stuff they were describing to make you jump sounds awesome though, and interestingly the camera isn't player-controlled but is instead tactically used to make your shit yourself.
I think Remedy is basically a Valve doppelganger when it comes to taking ages to make their games but them being amazing when released. I remember Max Payne was being hyped for ages before it eventually came out, though that's long forgotten.

I really wish this was coming out on PC
I am not buying a crapbox to play it! -
It's 2010.

If a company is in a situation where they can keep a project going an till it's really done that must be one of the best situations you can ever have as a developer, on the other hand you'd have to be really into the game to dedicate 5+ years to something even if you get something special out of it.
personally, if you asked me if i'd rather have 2 x average games or 1 brilliant game I'd chose the second one

-
I wish I had a decent mirror for this, but it has to be .de, so juwt watch it and the content is in English!

Four out of five suits say it helps reduce piracy and used game sales.

Man, it's next month... I can't fucking wait for this!
I'm glad my flatmate got an xbox, otherwise i would buy one for this.
