I was always going to play it for 360 but it really annoys me that Microsoft went on about this Games for Windows thing and then focuses on the likes of "Bee Movie" as your flag ship game. If they had some balls they would have had the likes of Halo Wars and Alan Wake coming to PC on day one and a PC version not a console port with a UI built for controllers.

Either the game's farther from being done than I thought and that was stand-in monologue for Alan or they got one terribad voice actor for the main character.

The police banter was pretty good though, "Have you seen this guy? He wears a tweed jacket!"

The chase reminds me of original Rambo movie Which is a good thing.

Hrm I thought that the police banter was pretty awful, made me cringe every time they spoke.

Just the slight similarity to Twin Peaks makes me psyched. Atmospherically they seem to be well on track - can't wait!

The tweed jacket makes me think of Robert Langdon from the Dan Brown books.

“Thank you for your continued interest in Alan Wake. It is accurate that we are currently working exclusively on the Xbox360 version of Alan Wake. PC plans are currently open, and therefore it’s safe to say that at least a simultaneous launch with the Xbox version will not happen at this late stage. Remedy has a deep heritage in PC gaming and would love to see a PC version available to its PC followers, ultimately however this decision lies with our publisher.”

    Allow me to translate:

“Thank you for your continued 7 YEARS LATER LOL interest in Alan Wake. It is accurate that we are currently working exclusively on the Xbox360 version of Alan Wake WE GET PAID LOADS TO DO IT ONLY FOR 360 AND TO IGNORE THE PC LOL. PC IS FULL OF PIRATES LOL, and therefore it’s safe to say that a simultaneous launch with the Xbox version will NOT HAPPEN EVER LOL. Remedy has a deep heritage MORE LIKE HATRED of PC gaming LOL FUCK YOU GUYS, ultimately however this decision lies with our OWNERS WHO DON'T CARE LOL.”
