I'm hooked. I'm loving it to bits.

This may very well dethrone hl2 for best game I've played...

My 360 copy came yesterday morning surprisingly, this game is awesome...only minor gripes i have are at the start was the object highlighting wasn't enabled by default and i almost missed it being there in the options menu, seems strange for such an important feature. Also hard mode is not too hard, but that's probably a good thing. And i don't get the e-book thing, there is an achievement for reading all 29 however i've collected way more than that already, there must be some that are more important than others but they all look the same

Games ace though, perfect blend of fallout and splinter cell.

I'm loving it. The load times do hurt a bit as I like to reload frequently and experiment with different approaches. I also don't like the fact that extra weapon copies are discarded when you collect them instead of stacking so you can sell them. But other than that, it feels just like DE1 pulled into the modern age.

I think what it is is there are multiple copies of the same E-book scattered throughout the game so if you miss it in one spot, you'll find it in another. You'll know you found a new one because you'll get the Scholar XP boost.

I love this, played it way past my bedtime.

I brought the PC version but it detected my 360 pad and kind of locked that as the control scheme and interface - so I figured, hey, I’ll give it a spin. I thought with it being quite a complex game there would be a bit of key hunting on the PC and I wouldn’t be shooting too many people.

Although the game is totally about options it seems to really want me to stealth through sections and take a pacifist, or at least strategic, route. But in all the encounters so far it’s much easier to just shoot one guy and then wait behind one crate for the whole of the area to train into you.

Also, at the very beginning before you get all your ‘augs’

I really had no idea how Adam got wrecked. I was walking through a corridor then I was suddenly in a different room covered in blood with three big bad guys and his lady friend (who is so obviously still alive). Later the pilot (I think) said that there was an explosion and Adam was saved by debris, but that kind of implies the special trained amazing assassins blew up a building they were inside. Unless this is some unfinished flashback. Was really jarring.

That's me being negative though, like I said I'm really enjoying it.

It is a habit of mine. I'll play through the intro again when I get back (unless you care to spoiler tag my stupidity?). I swear I didn't see any cut from there to the final fantasy cutscene, though.

You got into a room, a big guy grabbed you and slammed through reinforced window into another room and then punched you into some computers or something and also you got shot in the end.

I agree... it all happens a bit too quick, especially after going trhough such a slow paced intro to the game. But fuck me... that video with the operation being done to Adam is boneristic good man!
