So is the editor attached with the game as promised?

Last time it was mentioned: http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/05/05/rage- ... id-studio/

No, at least I'm pretty sure this was said during carmack's keynote. The editor's 64-bit only, and the 64-bit version of Rage is getting the Crysis 2 DX11 patch treatment apparently.

This better be good as my last two gaming hopes were utter rubbish.

This game looks really quite linear and boring to me.. The environments look amazing as far as post-apocalyptic stuff goes, but the gameplay looks really boring...

It looks a bit easy. And a bit on the "whack-a-mole"-side...

Duh, it wouldn't be a good gameplay demo if he died all the time now would it ? You know how these things go.

Of course, of course. It's just so noticeable by the casual pace that he's not being challenged. They could've made it more exciting without him dying is my point

I can't say much, but I can assure you that this game is most definitely not easy.

not bitter, i just don't care about anything else. bf3 can suck it until they get it on steam, d3 looks to be an unworthy sequel. doesn't leave much else...

    Joystiq's review is a bit harsh - 3/5:

    Quote

The town that initially holds the promise of a big, wide, asteroid-murdered world is a facade for a few fetch quests down some of the most guided, narrow shooter levels this side of a Call of Duty title. RAGE is pretty at times, but it's not enough to paint over the truth - that Id's labor feels like a scaffolding for a game of bolder ideas, ideas which, for whatever reason, aren't realized. And the game that is there just isn't enough to compete with other, better shooters we've seen this year.

It's out now on Steam but I'm not paying $60 from a dev who's last title was doom 3 without experiencing it or someone trusted experiencing it first. Who's gonna review it here for us, eh?
