anyways, got back from Amsterdam yesterday. Absolutely lovely city! Very nice people, and really beautiful city!

Got 'em for $10 with free shipping. Pretty pleased with them, the audio quality is excellent, and because they're the big kind of headphone that cover your ear they block outside noise pretty well. The cord's long as fuuuuuuuck, too. My only complaint is that the microphone comes out of the left ear piece and you have to pull it out to use it, and then push it back in when you're done, and the mechanism to hold it inside the ear piece feels like crap, I have to use way more force to get it to go back in the ear piece than I feel comfortable with, and that whole thing feels flimsy. Luckily the headset comes with a backup mic on the little volume control bit on the cord. At first I thought the sound was bad, and was kinda disappointed, but then I noticed that volume control. It's great, about equal with my 3 speaker setup's sound, with that turned up.

Those two Stargate movies are so awful. They're like mediocre longer than usual episodes with even less budget than normal.

hmm i think about getting a projector for a home cinema. There is this relatively new german company who offers a 720p lcd projector for only ~500 Euro and they got some decent reviews. Usualy these things cost twice the price and full HD projectors cost even more.

Would be quite a big investment for me but still its quite tempting. I watch a lot of movies so i would really love to see them in a big ass ratio. Would also be cool for playing games from my bed. Anyone here own a projector?

i got tickets to phish, sublime (with rome), badfish (sublime tribude band), and les claypool. should be a cool summer. i want to get some dave matthews tickets but im not a big enough fan to drop 100 dollars

Mhhh I'm not far from Werchter and there is a lot of band I like but.... the price wtf !!
