What have you purchased recently?

insulting is never and in no country covered by the freedom of speech. the freedom of speech guarantees you to say your opinion on public matters, not calling others with names of your bodyparts.

actually it seems most contries allow insults. i know one exception is insulting german police officers, but i honestly can't think of anywhere else where this is illegal.

I call bus drivers assholes all the time and I don't get fined... your country sucks

-
the trick with insulting in the netherlands is to keep suggestive but never too specific. also, busdrivers in the netherlands suffer a great deal of stress because 1. they are assholes and 2. they are easy targets for other assholes (and robbers) and lately there has been quite some violence to busdrivers in Daan his region (Den Haag, right?). so.. maybe there has been some tightening of the rules which apply to this situation? not sure. also, Daan; couldn't you just run/walk away after the incident? G'd knows how many things I came away with just by ''disapearing''

Because of the crap that has happened to bus drivers lately i was held in the streets by two bus guards or whatever they're called. And i didn't want to stay anonymous because after i heard he wanted to file a complaint against me, i wanted to do the same. That asshole found some witnesses that made statements that i can prove are false, but that didn't matter. Now, the asshole busdriver is still on the same bus and didn't even get a warning or anything from his employer (i saw all the files), and i learned not to speak the truth to the police.
By the way that was in Eindhoven, but i now live in Utrecht
-
that sucks.. that really sucks. if it helps any, you got my sympathy.
-
You live in Utrecht? me, Chris and a few more friends gonna be there next weekend for the Trance Energy party!
-
do you guys have cameras on your busses? the bus i take to class has at least 4 cameras on it.
-
Well, if you need a place and to crash you're welcome of course. More money for beer! But it's going to be hard to accomodate more than 3 people.
-
Thanks man, but we already booked the hotel, it came with the ticket travel pack!
We're staying in Tulip Inn Amsterdam Riverside, then a bus will take us to Utrecht. But we still need to find a way from the train station to the hotel, we'll prolly gonna take the metro, or taxi. I'll avoid Bus, or I might feel a urge to call the driver unpleasant names!

-
Train is much quicker from Amsterdam to Utrecht. Anyway, if you're looking for an afterparty let me know

Quick question about Orange Box, Google doesn't seem to give me a definitive answer.. Does the version of Half-Life 2 (as in the original game not the episodes) in OB run on the OB engine or is it just the original version of Source?
-
I might be wrong, but I think It's the original.
-
just the original version. the only orange box content is tf2, episode 2 and portal
-
I was going to install my original copy of HL2 to play but didn't want to if the OB version was different, thanks.
-
Rule of thumb: Every patch or content update for any Valve Game is free of charge at all times as long as it's connected with Steam (versus XBL).
