Some Wheel of Time goodness. Pity that they don't have the whole 5th book as one big hardcover in German. I'll have to buy three pocket books (which is more expensive) and I don't feel like switching from German to English...

great book, read it a while back (we have it in our university library which is awesome ). there's quite a lot of truth in this book, although I miss some kind of sequel or extended edition with more background informations.

Started to check out Unreal editor a couple of days ago with UT3. But i'm more interested in the singleplayer side of things so i got this one today.

Holy shit Stepp, that piece of shit is so buggy that you're in for one hell of a ride... I couldn't even finish the game on PC because of bugs, crashes, freezes, let alone use the editor.

Nice Sindwiller. I've read the series two times now and I've started reading everything the writer of the final three books has written (he's a really great writer, brandon sanderson, you should check him out).

Also, reading the books in the original language is always best if you can understand the language (which you can).

It was indeed a pain in the ass to get the game running. Had to install a couple of patches (which i had to search for on the internet) before it even would start. Then i had to look up on forums how to get Windows Live installed and running. The windows live website itself was offline lol. All in all took me about 30 minutes before i could play the first level _after the initial installation was done_. Reminded me why i prefer playing on console so much these days.

The editor runs fine as far as i can tell, although it feels like a penalisation to go from Diesel editor to learn Unreal editor. I don't like the general clumsiness, the unusual navigation and bad use of screen space (no fun with one screen only). But if i find enough time to wrap my head around it it should help me to improove my situation on job search in the future.
