STALKER: Clear Sky

Best case scenario this is a huge loss in sales for Steam, worst case scenario a huge loss of overall sales to piracy. Really, really bad move.

Too bad about the stupid manufacturing problem. You'd think Steam would be unaffected by this... Either way I just pre-ordered the game on Steam. I just downloaded the Oblivion Lost mod tonight for the original STALKER, supposedly one of the best (if not the best) for the game. Maybe I will play through that again before checking out Clear Sky.

I heard someone say the other day that they forgot to include the CD keys or something in the retail boxes. Easy mistake, whoops.

The retail copies of Clear Sky are already out on store shelves. The Steam delay is unique to Steam. It also happened like three hours before they said they were gonna release the game, and APPARENTLY the GSC guys didn't know about it?

This is why Steam is a bag of shit

Pass on this? the first one was rated 82 on meta, and I remember some really bad crits during the first release. even though everyone I know who have played it LOVE it.

I doubt that Clear sky will dissapoint, unless you expect it to be a shooter like cod.
