After two months of hard work for the Crysis / Intel Mapping Contest I'm happy to release "Borderline".
Like many of you followed the WIP-Thread I won't write a lot more about this map.
I tried not to do the typical Crysis look. I'm a fan of derelict and old architecture so you see it influenced. I got my inspiration from browsing flickr.com. Textures are taken from CGtextures.com in most cases and edited in photoshop. ![]()
Gameplay should be Crysis like. But my intention awas to create a natural environment with the possibility to use the Nanosuit specials.
Some facts:
Game: Crysis
Gamemode: Instant Action (Deathmatch)
Size: 6v6 should be fine
Theme: Forrest and City. A good mix of both
New Textures / Models: Yes. Plenty of them
You can also vote for my map. If it makes it into the top 10 until 15th of April the Crytek-devs and other qualified guys will judge and review the map too. So I'm happy about every "star" you give me. ![]()
