thank you my sole reply-er on mapcore. yeah that fixtures been replaced.... I'd been having trouble with some env_glows not showing up or point_spotlights but that's been solved too.

and y'know.. im not sure if it is with hdr... I thought it was.. but I remember doing a fast compile just recently... so maybe it wasnt? But yeah thats good advice to add some more lights to spice up the color.

and yeah I hope my layout is that good.. I'm kinda proud of it.

vivi and I test it out 1 on 1 every couple of weeks.. but I'd like to set up a beta test of it soon.

lol, half decent feedback is hard to come by. Reckon Mapcore is far better than most though. I'm sure with Vivi helping you out it'll be a quality release.

Have you found a replacement willow tree? What about trying to model it yourself? I'd have a crack but I'm too busy. It would also be very cool if you used the alpha shadow rendering Robert Briscoe worked out http://%7boption%7d

lol problem is that was my willow tree model I had made.. I kinda gave up on it. I was gonna get help from hessi at some point but thats having trouble materializing.

that alpha shadow rendering is too awesome. I'll have to see if I can get that in my map! (but I need a tree first )

It's not a bad effort. The texturing looks alright though I think the model could be more irrigular and organic looking. You could affort to increase the polycount for such a feature I think.
