Simonay Posted June 15, 2014 Report Posted June 15, 2014 (edited) I'm kind of new to the whole mapping scene, but I'm proud to announce my first proper map for an actual game mode, Cuzco! I'm not hosting any servers for it at the minute, but I'd be more than pleased if anyone added me on steam and wanted to try it out with other humans. It originated as a silly concept, but over the last couple of weeks it's evolved into a (somewhat) fully fledged map that works (reasonably) well with both classic and deathmatch modes. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=270576577 Please let me know what you think - I didn't try to make a definitive gameplay experience, but I've tried to balanced things where possible, even if the layout is rather unconventional. Vinneri Posted June 17, 2014 Report Posted June 17, 2014 You should put map overview picture to workshop. I like your map, but should it be demolition mode instead of classic? I think it's too small to be classic competitive. Anyways, nice work Quote
Simonay Posted June 17, 2014 Author Report Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) You should put map overview picture to workshop. I like your map, but should it be demolition mode instead of classic? I think it's too small to be classic competitive. Anyways, nice work To be honest, it actually began as a demolition map with the upper bombsite being the only target. I thought it had potential to have two bombsites, as it was kinda repetitive always racing to the top - there was no use of what may be inside the pyramid, so I opened it up to add a second bombsite. Agreed, it's way too small for proper competitive play - as I said, it did originate as a silly concept. As for the overview, I'm working on it - the radar is being somewhat problematic. Thanks for the feedback though ^^ Edited June 17, 2014 by Mr. Freakshow Quote
