Last piece of content we'll ever get(?) for my favourite game series of all time is out. I've been told it has the toughest bosses yet.

I totally recommend you play ME1 and 2 tho, they're some of the best sci-fi I've ever seen.
Yeah I have the trilogy sitting in my library, it's just that with all the sick games coming out.. Zelda will probably take me a year to finish.

Is that true though? Unlockable champions? If so, I suppose the freebie is Ranger? Then, why would I ever want to unlock anything else?

-
I've never played Mass Effect or discussed it with anyone, so I have to ask. Based on that video, are humans in this universe not supposed to look like us due to evolution, or are the characters just made incredibly unattractive (subjective, sure)? Not critiquing, just finding it interesting.

A swedish gaming site claims to have talked to Tim Willits who confirmed that classic mode without hero powers is confirmed. This is probably old news, I haven't followed the development at all.
-
So hats confirmed? Do they have legendary particle effects though?

We are extremely open-minded about releasing a map editor for Overwatch someday. But because Overwatch was made with a brand new engine, this is not a small task or one which can happen any time soon. We have this on our long-term road map and believe heavily in user-made content. But there are many challenges ahead of us and it will be a very long road before our editor can be made available to the public.

London will have higher wages since it is more expensive to live there but it might only a few more thousand a year and I doubt it'd make much difference since London is so expensive.
Pre taxes? Fascinating. That would equate to minimum wage over here. Pretty much the same as someone working at McDonalds, I think.

Oh, 20k annually is remarkably low for developed countries, didn't expect to hear that. Is that the case in London as well? I would love to hear from someone working in the industry in Sweden, through PM or whatever means.

Any update on the shader changes? I haven't noticed anything with my props. Curious about support for "various feeatures"...?
Edit: so people on reddit are reporting that models reflect more light in unlit areas?
-
By no means anything special. I'm just happy I managed to texture a model entirely in SD. One year ago I could barely make and texture a cube. The prospect of where I'll be in another year from now excites me

That's a problem in most modern multiplayer games. Rank is a shitty stress factor that brings out the worst in people and segregates friends of varying skill levels. Want to play without a useless icon next to your name? Here's our other gamemode with a completely different ruleset, not even remotely similar to the one that's fun.
Sorry for the rant, I've just grown to loathe what I consider the worst addition to one of my favourite genre of games.
Unranked. Hidden mmr. Same ruleset. People would be playing all kinds of maps I'm sure.

Damn, nothing goes past the Reddit detectives

Never played any of the operation maps, so I'll be checking them out. Next lineup of operation contestants is going to be pretty stacked.
-
Huh, interesting. Looking forward to checking this out when I get off work. I guess the screenshots looks somewhat inviting? But I was never a fan of bombsites with tight sightlines where there's just no easy way to fall back after securing a kill or two as CT. B looks like a nightmare in that regard.

Where's the monologue from? I've heard it before somewhere.

I've played every single Zelda, and BotW is honestly just the best. They nailed open world, simply put.
