In last update notes, in the ui section, it is talked about a smooth change to the next system. What does that mean?

It's never a bad idea to look at our history as a cautionary tale. Not saying I agree with his view, I still have a little bit of faith in our race specially since we're so connected nowadays, and that brings good things too.
Interesting read thanks!
Biggest flaw of his argumentation go me is that he doesn't count into account that the natural selection doesn't select the better people for humanity since it decimates intelligent people each time

You mean with cute Pokémon trainers?

You may be right, but unfortunately, the world knows more the mobile gaming industry than the more serious (I hope) pc gaming industry, and it doesn't give any incentive to people to play when they see how disproportionate the whole thing is. There are people leaving their jobs to train Pokémons and so on..

This game runs so well on Vulkan, that's amazing ! I mean I was expecting lower 90fps at 1080p on ultra, but I ended up on average at 170 fps...
For a game that beautiful, it's amazing. This game should be the reference in terms of optimization for all game developers around the world! Or is it? Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm happy of how well it performs.

I really liked the beginning of the game... now it crashes all the time

Of course, however Russia will try to keep it cool as long as they can, since it's the only sport they'll be playing during the Olympics apparently !
If Nintendo knows it, it's a cheap move which is demeaning the video game industry in the eyes of the rest of the world

There is a Factory New AWP GRAPHITE in your area!
You forgot the new doorknob dragon lore which is in your kitchen! Nice!
More seriously, Pokemon GO seem to be a weird game considering the demographics of it and the purpose of it from the point of view of some players. Some are damn serious, some just curious and some only play it "socially".
This doesn't seem right, since social effects are only ephemeral, and a chunk of the player base will eventually stop playing because of that

I really wish ervery map in the game was maintained like Cache and that we would get more original maps like Overpass.
Hey at least they started relifting maps 4 years later ... 2020 will be the year of the next map and the year cs go will be ported to source 2.

The gambling one based on coin flips etc got money from skins themselves.
They had a positive statistical gain which allowed them to gain money while letting people play.

Good thing 60 million euros of the defense budget was used to build a golf course for one privileged school...

Two years back a guy did the same thing to avenge himself from the loss of his job. Fortunately he had a small van and was stopped before making much harm ( I think it was like 30 injured but not any deaths if I remember right). So he might have done something similar, but, of course, Daesh says it's them, because well, it would benefit them that it does, and everyone prefer to blame them without questioning it too much, because that's the easy way to "figure things out".
I have a friend who was there but wasn't harmed in any way, she told me about how badly the medias are handling things, creating an horror climate and everything...

But down here, 3 draws in the group, a 3rd place, lucky advance due to new tournament setup (you would have been out 4 years ago), again 2 draws that had to be decided by penalties, isn't exactly considered beating them.
They did grow as a team, I'll give you that

They should learn from e-sports on that.
When you look at last cs go major, the winner has been good from beginning to the end and they have earned their title at every match.
The fundamental difference is that in such games, you can't draw a match because the rules doesn't make it possible, and like in basketball for instance, the overall rules make it really rare to go to third overtime, and even to second overtime.
And a team which doesn't win cannot advance at any point.
To finish with the e-sports comparison, they should have a best of 3 for finals and semifinals and so on, that would reduce the amount of luck one team can have to advance. They even do best of 7 in NBA, so that's possible to do so.

Recently bought myself my first rig, buying hardware feels damn good, lucky you

That's sad given Portugal shouldn't have even come out of group stages.

Who knew France could make that much goals!

You mean the immigration problem will be more prominent ?
As I see it, the best protection UK has is the huge work France is doing at the costs of millions in Calais. If the UK leaves, we won't waste as much money and we'll let the UK deal with it, which will end up being costly.
I don't really think Cameron will ever leave his position. It's due October (right ?) And I don't think the leave camp will survive the summer... especially since the EU won't leave any privileges to the UK, we simply can't afford it.
-
Funny thing is that now the UK doesn't seem to want to leave anymore but the EU is preparing the leave...
Troubling times ahead if the EU tries to kick UK out because of this...
