i liked the system in battlefield and i guess cod, where the achievements are a lot smaller, but you can gain them multiple times, so you can see on your medal board that you got the "get 30 m4a4 kills" multiple times, and then have the slightly more special medals, "earn $1,000,000" earnt a couple of times. im coming up to doubling the $2,500,000 blood money challenge. and probably have the AK47 badge many times over! lol
edit: I would have the AK47 "badge" 37 times D:

Well... I hope they reduce the hostage rescue one?

And who the hell can get 100 molotov kills? That's the only one I cheated with, pre-workshop I made myself a map to BBQ bots for that one

I'll see you suckers tonight!

Apparently some Demolition maps are getting updates next patch, I hope I'm not the only one here who totally loves that mode.
Demolition is seriously underrated, but i don't have much luck playing it as it's quite casual...

It doesn't feature the absolutely abysmal gameplay the current version of classic casual does.
Demolition > Classic Casual
mattwood_valve on r/GlobalOffensive replied to a post about demolition, thanking the guy for putting thought into the gamemode. I get the feeling with all of this combined that a demolition update is fairly certain!
Maybe they'll reduce the achievement for cold pizza eater...

I quite liked the exo suit. I thought the movement was refreshing, if not a way of copying unreal tournament movement into the game, but it doesn't feel very fluid.
I have a couple of hours on multiplayer now, and I am getting totally wrecked by these guys who look absolutely ridiculous and are all using the bloody laser gun thing. zip around, unable to hit them, they aim vaguely in your direction for a couple of seconds and suddenly you are an electrified puddle.
I totally agree with the visual noise, but then it means that the thermal scopes actually do something.

the device originally went up for sale in the US for $649 which at time of exchange, in GBP was about £406, a strange number which I would expect them to probably round up.
£400ish is way off £500 for a starting price... Unless the US store didn't include tax, and then it is still more expensive in the UK...
I sold my bloody nexus 5 in August and have had to deal with a Samsung Galaxy S (original S...), which I've found a pretty stable KitKat ROM for. RAM is in such short supply on this phone
I just want a nice new phone

UK price is up... £500 for 32GB and £549 for 64GB...
That stings... I am disappoint google... Ignoring exchange rate...
edit: price error

Hoping sooner rather than later. Halloween update was just a bit annoying IMO. (I miss the ghost chickens
)I've been playing on Faceit to learn different maps. I have a stubborn group of friends that just want to play CS_Italy..I know..so it's refreshing to get to play other maps at a relatively high level without the threat of losing your MM rank.
But what about your faceit rank? D:
I find faceit completely random, it has very little balance.

I'm loving the art direction. The Japanese setting looks so good I want to lick it, and I'm really digging the "neo-London" theme.
Not really my type of game, but I'm always open to try new ones even though I got quite sick of TF2 and mobas.
PS. personal gripes: I'm sorry, was the horrifically bad english "street urchin" accent necessary? And they couldn't have made Reaper's guns look any more useless in the cinematic.
-
They've released weapon updates separately before though?
I booted up CS yesterday and I still had the halloween update running. Although I only got points for killing zombie chickens, not each stage. My internet be crazy at the moment...

Awesome. My internet is finally installed at my new place so I should be on

not available in my region... who makes these decisions? i had a rant about prices on the advanced warfare thread... 60 euros is criminal
-
how far/long was your nuclear race?
these are the obstacles for the dirty races
they all seem to be variations on the same thing, but I want to try a few of them

I was really upset when I got a "free copy of watch dogs" with my graphics card, went straight to steam to redeem it and it didn't recognise it...
Reality hit home hard when I could only use it with uplay

I am sad if they have definitely pulled it from steam :

I was unsure about the game as well. Haven'y played it yet but I managed to get it for £26.90 rather than the crazy £40 they keep expecting us to shell out.
QuoteCDKeys.com is the place to go (I have no affiliation)
EDIT: oh crap, just seen battlefield 4 is for £12.99...
I don't like these ever increasing game prices, I could just be spoiled by steam sales and humble bundles but I think it's plainly ridiculous. And that's excluding any shitty pointless DLC they drip feed you... And the way they increase it by £5 or so every year which people just keep paying really grinds my gears.
I have no insider knowledge on this and I'm going out on a limb here with how I would make games, but if you need to charge that much for a game then I think the studios need to rethink how they make their games in the first place.
I could make a phone, but if I charge £2,000 for it, no-one will buy it. I need to focus on what people are willing/happy to pay (the closer to zero the better) and work with that in mind.

The few I know of are the "nuts challenge" which is more of a fun run according to my sister who finished their 7k, "dirty dash/dozen/destroyer" all of which simply exist to punish anyone who dares try them, "tough mudder" and I guess the "iron man" is sort of in the same line of bodily destruction.
I'm looking to do the dirty dozen again with a group of people, but I need to seriously work on my upper body strength and stamina everything for it. But then snorlax probably has better stamina than me...

I have a theme already and a fair amount of references to use. Including a whole map I can cheekily recycle "inspiration" from if needed. But most of my hesitation is probably down to not really knowing how to progress and rather than getting stuck in I don't even try

I used to map at work in breaks and lunch time, but now I don't even think about it... I'm a lost cause!
I'll try and post a few development pics here, might get the ball rolling if I can start getting feedback.
