Plus the full set of T-60d I'm wearing... I don't know what they expect you to do with all of these:

Ha, yeah exactly. We should do map tests of all the official maps and report our findings to valve :P

Inferno is just a mess, even thinking about going A as a T and I feel sick.

knowing a few good smokes is always helpful. but i imagine it would generally be slaughtered in a map test via feedback if this was a new map being tested.

Seems like a lot of dead space outside the map, and not much to play around in the map.

I also thought the target was 16 arenas, not 12?

Dust2 had it's skybox modified recently to allow for better nades. If all it needs is a visual lift, then they can just swap them in/out in an update. It doesn't need to be pulled from the game.

Nuke (and before it, train) requires gameplay overhauls and there would be a disconnect for competitive teams to prepare strats for it, only for them to be largely irrelevant post update.

I realise a lot of strats rely on visual cues, but that's less work than creating new strat.

Would be cool if you could turn user's profiles into a sort of mini portfolio. Promote current project, a couple screenshots etc etc.

    bit like the steam profiles?

would that sort of distract from the topics we should be creating for discussion which are more publicly accessible?

Honestly, don't buy 4K. You're much better off getting a high quality 1080p screen like I helped my sister find recently.

That Sony 50" looks pretty good though :)

I'm interested to see what the map looks like if you've hit the entity limit?

    Any screenshots to hand?

The problem with the big rock is that CTs can get to the far side without Ts seeing, but Ts can't cross to the big side without being seen from B, unless they smoke their only other route choice. Was planting under B intentional?

Regarding A long (what's up with the radar A being near CT spawn?) You've got Ts ramp leading up and on the opposite side, stairs for CTs leading up. It's a head peek war that CTs won most of the time. In all honesty, that other doorway that leads down to A near A long is unnecessary. If CTs are pushed back they should go further back, and if anyone on the bridge wants to drop down, then they can without having to go through a stairwell. It's just another place to camp.

Speaking of camping, there are a lot of deep doorways and paths that are dead ends and are only good for sitting in out of sight. It makes it a lot of hard work having to check everything, especially as when they are so deep the camper has advantage (the person furthest from a corner has peeking advantage - if you don't believe me check out warowl's video on it).

I feel mid is way too tight. I mentioned in the feedback mid game, but it's all about rush/smoke/spray. There's very little to "play off". Dust2, inferno, mirage, cache, season (etc...) allow you to get creative with smokes and flashes to EARN control of mid. This is just a smoke in the middle that stops everybody. It's not very interesting and can be highly frustrating.

I think you have to balance your routes and cut a ot of dead space and a few unnecessary paths. A and B long are too long, and mid is too short and spammy.

On a positive note, map looks great :)

On my way to do my first ever press interview about Total War: Warhammer with the people of the Creative Assembly. It doesn't help that I've never played Total War. But hey, I did my homework, came up with some decent questions (I think) and hopefully I won't embarrass myself playing (if it turns out to be a hands-on session). Let's see if they can understand my thick Dutch accent. Wish me luck!

    Good luck!

Don't we have some Creative Assembly Mapcorians around?

Still plodding along nicely with progress. Thing I'm most proud of recently was a 15 rep 100kg rack lift (2 sets previously of 60kg then 80kg)

My weight has plateaued, but my measurements are still decreasing :)

Being slowed down on lower body work by excruciating shin splints :( If I can get the position just right I can work around it, but I love squats and deadlifts!

Reading the last couple of posts reminds me of my Judo days... I might see if the mrs wants to try something like that. Apply her fists of fury to something that isn't me, lol.

That's not true actually. I used to save and store my vmf's in a folder outside of the Steam directory (and thereby outside of sdk_content) and it always worked fine for me.

You'll have to show me how then because I could never get the vmfs to talk to each other when taken out of the steam directory, despite maintaining path structure.

We're talking instances here, and not just a single vmf right? Because I have no problem with that, just the instances...

Don't forget there's a perk which allows you to breathe underwater!

Oh yeah, I already have this. It also means you don't take any of the radiation from water. You could also stomp around in power armour but are limited to the bottom of the ocean then...

But visibility is still shit, unless there is a way to fix it I don't know about
