Maybe last day is a controller?

Not in-game but in the Bioshock Infinite credits.
I was really just going for the ones in the Bravo pack there, but there really should be a thread of all the hurgs that have ended up in games now.

Alright guys, kennyvenom has spoken, your maps suck. Now follow his formula and all come out with the same goddamn map. No more having fun, every map has to be competitive.
No really, wtf is with the CS community and thinking everything has to be competitive?

Congrats! Betting on the next pack just being a link to the mapcore collection
I'm really liking it, I keep checking my phone just for the sake of playing with the new UI. The only real issue I ran into was that the iPad music app now sorts albums into lists instead of the old grid view which wastes so much space.
Is it just me, or does this game run pretty slow? I can't tell if my release ps3 is having trouble with it, or if I'm just too used to PC games.
Quote from blackdogdone a quick Google search and I understand it's something like a cache. I wonder how does it work, i've read about hybrid disks that use some solid memory to shift around stuff accessed more often.
But especially i wonder if there's a slot compatible with that much memory or the 32gigs are actually there.
I was under the impression that it worked as a regular drive. There are larger ones available, I was considering one for my computer after I noticed the slot on my mobo.
mSATA is internal, really small:

With the new Vita TV thing, I'm really hoping someone comes out with a nice local streaming box for PC.
Quote from shawnolsonIf you can master 3ds Max... I'm not so certain you'll find anything extra valuable in Sketchup. Going back and forth seems like a hassle. It would be like dual booting your computer in Windows and Linux... where you play games and make really neat things in Windows... then take the time to shut it all down and reboot in Linux so you can check your email. Just seems like it's not worth it. (Sorry if offending any Linux users... I have a Linux box here for development but honestly avoid it like the plague...)
Not sure if you can really offend by stating the truth. I have a Linux install on this PC that I occasionally log into and just feel sad that it's not supported by adobe or most game devs.
On topic: Just stay with Max, sketchup won't get you far in creating assets. I can only really imagine using sketchup for BSP geometry.
After watching five minutes of the first CSS mapping tutorial on youtube, I'm finally ready to announce a new map the CS community can truly get excited about. Move aside, operation payback! This is all the CS community will ever need! Remember how much Dust revolutionized CS mapping? Here we go again.

now how do I make water? That's all I need to realize my vision.
I was already impressed with the visuals (and from the first few tests, the gameplay), and it looks even better in action! The use of color is simply stunning.
If I was on one of those ads:
"I ran for five minutes because some dick blew up all the vehicles, then was stabbed in the face. I then left the server."
I've been playing this game quite a bit, and I love it. Just one thing that is a little annoying: I wish I could just try again without restarting the server when everyone dies.

God for-fucking-bid.
Blender is a massive piece of shit, just like XSI was. Why don't they just build their own modelling tool and base it off a decent program.how anyone can stand working with Blender, I don't know. It took me just a day or so to figure out enough in Maya to make something decent, and despite trying to learn several times in 4 years or so, I still can't figure the program out for the life of me.
I was also wondering how to get started with texturing. All I've done is generate crappy filter textures and poorly cropped photos, and I'm wondering how to turn that into something at least decent.

Released a pretty big update, I wan't really satisfied with how the map was in the end, so I removed that awful brush scoreboard at bombsite B, added interiors to the closed concession stands, and re-did the area outside CT spawn, and generally polished the map a little (I also re-uploaded with the final version because the map workshop opened when the map was still a heavy WIP which didn't look too good). And with that, I think I'm finally done touching this map.
