I got an HP laptop pretty cheap a few months ago and its surprisingly powerful. The biggest problem is its got a shitty laptop hard drive, so things run really well, but they take ages to load.

Keep in mind that the country side isn't just bland mountains. They've got an air force base (attack helicopters, anyone?), what looks like their take on Malibu, and of course the backwater Salton Sea-esque area the redneck character comes from.

I played for an hour, nothing really happened, and I stopped and went to bed. Most of my time was spent wandering aimlessly around trying to figure out where I was supposed to go.

Its mostly been creepy atmosphere and a few jump scares (including one triggered by opening a door that reset when I loaded my game up this morning, fuck you, game, that scared the shit out of me the second time too) but its really well done

The radiant they released with the cod4 dev tools was identical to GTKradiant

Yeah CoD uses radiant. Radiant is basically hammer with some improvements (reasonably ok lighting preview!) and some really neat tools for making curved geometry. Though the terrain tools are basically displacements with wonkier controls.

I don't remember which trailer I saw at the time I put it on watchlist, I'm not linking any because they may be deceptive.
I randomly picked it up from my list after ignoring it since it was first advertised and liked it a lot, I really suggest it.
I watched end of watch on netflix a few days ago, totally at random, and loved it. I knew nothing about it and was expecting a standard action cop movie but it was really, really good.
