This film is famous for having one of the most intriguing and debated unsolved crimes in it, so much so, it is debated in colleges studying films and movies as a thought exercise. There are people who have made diagrams, spreadsheets and even made it their entire thesis to move through the topic.
Famous movie. Based on a famous book. Written by a famous author. Directed by a famous director. Starring two of the most famous Hollywood actors and actresses, ever.
I'll close by saying it would be an understatement to say it was genre defining, and even "Breaking Bad" writer-director Vince Gilligan used its cinematography in "Breaking Bad", and "Better Call Saul" albeit; in color.
Haven't seen it, but I did the detective work and found out it's The Big Sleep

It looks pretty on par with the rest of their games. Even when Serious Sam 3: BFE came out, it wasn't exactly the best looking game, but it had that HD series feel to it. I think it's something they're going for, similar to how you would know when a game is running on Source, if that makes sense?

@Mitch Mitchell It's been a week. Give us another hint

It is, but that's not the point. It's a great game that people who haven't played it cannot enjoy.. legally

About the Game Developed by true shooter veterans in Croteam, Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass reignites the classic series by improving on the old-school formula. Enjoy the high-adrenaline action combat with an unbelievably destructive arsenal and experience Sam's iconic enemy-annihilating circle-strafing and backpedaling dance-routine on an even bigger scale.
Steam link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/257420/Ser…_Planet_Badass/
Features[*] CLOSE QUARTERS AND MASSIVE BATTLEFIELDS - Serious Sam has always been about crazy action in both huge open spaces and more streamlined arenas. This time it's no different. However, alongside those smaller arenas, for the first time in series history Serious Sam 4 debuts individual massive 128 x 128 km levels. [*] LEGION SYSTEM - EPIC HORDES OF ENEMIES - Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass debuts brand new enemy hordes scaled to match its terrain size. Fight through thousands upon thousands of relentless foes, both those that defined the franchise like Kamikaze and Kleer and those ready to become iconic in the future. [*] WITH A TWIST OF THE WRIST - To help you cover more ground easily, Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass features a set of cool and fun vehicles. Get your driving skills ready and jump on a motorcycle, a combine harvester or even a bulletproof popemobile and drive your way through unfortunate enemy pedestrians. [*] CLASSIC SAM IS BACK - Despite the huge terrains and vast open spaces, Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass is NOT an open world game. Fans will once again get to enjoy that circle-strafing, backpedaling, linear action gameplay they have come to love but on brutally bigger scale. [*] WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM A FRIEND - Companions no longer appear only in cut-scenes, but are taking part in the action. Rodriguez, Jones, Hellfire and the rest of the crew are joining Sam in this epic journey through Planet Badass. However, Sam is still very much a one-man-army hero you met all those years ago. Got the AvP reboot for about a dollar during the last steam sale, and I'm about to install it and start playing this week.
It's been around 17 years since I played AvP2 and I just need some predator action

I remember how excited I was for the reboot and how.. well, it failed to compare to AVP2. Though, If there's one thing I can say about it, without spoiling anything, is that after Colonial Marines, the reboot seems darn decent.

Not a fan of the series, but that looks interesting
-
Oh yeah, that thing.. completely forgot about Dying Light. Hey, @will2k since you've gotten on all fours and dirty with that game, how's it like? what are the limitations?

Displacements have their own max limit. Not sure if that means they're also counted as regular brushes or not tbh.
Did a quick test, to be extra sure, where I turned a brush face into a displacement. They don't count as regular brushes.

What you guys are suggesting involves multiplying the amount of brushes on facades that are already complex... Are you sure its okay to do this? I'll start by backing up my stuff, then try it with one buildings and post it here!
Displacements don't count towards the brush limit. They have their own category.

Yeah, but those are pretty limiting if you want to create something other than a survival horror with stealth mechanics. Great for narrative since you have the journal system. Just remembered, might be worth looking at Serious Sam HD if you want something a tad more retro with okay-ish looking graphics.

Starcraft 2 has some decent mod support. Last I was playing it a few years ago I remember some interesting player maps that were basically their own game. There was some rpg thing I really liked. Though, if you're looking to create something with proper narrative structure and that is in first person perspective, Source is the way to go. I don't think you'll find anything better. Companies no longer support modding.

Yeah, you get better results when painting the edges. If you eliminate those, you'll get noticeable stretches around.
-
@MikeGon in case you're wondering how to break them into displacements, this is how I'd go about it:

That's how I split mine when working on my doi map. It's a bit more time consuming because you have to work with the vertex tool, but this ensures the least lighting and texturing issues. @Squad pls confirm

We'll see how it plays out. I just hope they don't end up the same way a vast majority of mods do. Hey @The Horse Strangler what do you think of those two projects?
Also, found this cool thing the other day
