Isn't it a bit too tight/dark? It can be just the angle of the shots, but i don't see much space to move around. In any case post al ink when you publish, playing very little, I usually just play this mode in CSGO.

he doesnt need to go in to IU - they just showed it like this, but its just a gameplay approach - am i right !?

I'd hope so, but the prompt changes between the two playthroughs, you can read "[X] knock out or hold for human shield" (3:28) and then "[X] kill or hold for human shield" (7:05).

I don't see why there would be a UI for that, if there was a way to contextually do that.

Seems a bit too tight for an aim map; with people continously switching to a zoomed view, walkable surfaces are a bit too obstucted.

I don't like very much the fact that you have to go into a UI to decide whether to attack lethally or not. Other than that, looks solid, good 'ol Splinter Cell. But on the contrary of most fans, i'd welcomed a different course of events for Sam Fisher after Conviction, probably i've said that already.

I literally did that for the first 12 episodes of Season 1 of 24 once

Eheh, don't remind me that; when it was airing on Italian TV i discarded it as a cheap and "B" tv-show, when after years a friend kept telling me it was a great show, i got around to watch everything, i had to force myself in rationing the episodes (though a couple of times I watched 4 in a row).

Also I had a guy lending me the DVDs of the first two seasons of Prison Break, I got to watch the episodes+commentary in ~10 days per season.

24 up to now is the only tv-show that ended and didn't disappoint; also always increasing the quality (except for a couple of season that are a bit weak). But I have only the embarassment of choice in good stuff, I still miss for eg. Dexter, Breaking Bad, BSG, Lost(!)...

The first two episodes of the first season of Game Of Thrones totally got me if I didn't willingly turned off the computer, i'd be up all night watching all... it's nice to watch completed season/series.

Nexus: lolz Gothika, was better than I expected it to be, i remember making a meme with a friend about the scream in the car and the Illuminati avatar.

I'm not up to date with latest hw, i just read recently that whatever the VGA, it's ok because the new one will come out only toward the end of the year.

By the way, if i was to buy something, i'd be gravitating toward nVidia... aren't those still heating less? Also, even if doesn't change the world, the support for PhysX is nice to have when performance/price is equal. No?

Adobe is perfectly fine with that i guess the point is making the people dependent from the tool, while an "extended" license is good to get comfy for something like a contest, nobody can produce enough stuff in a month to get around the payment.

Maybe the free version could have the complete feature-set for a limited time (eg: one month) so anybody installing it motivated by a contest like this get the full potential and are motivated to discover everything, then they must upgrade or stay with the limited features.

really? I felt like I was just watching a badly acted b-movie. Everything was scripted out for you, even the camera movement...

Well, practically all the intros are getting posted are non-interactive; that's something I was tempted to discuss: is it an intro something non-interactive, should it be interactive, but your actions limited, or it can be the full blown game, to awe the player? God Of War has been mentioned for the latter, and I was tempted to cite Deadlight: you get a short comic-book intro and you are in the game, you play a full tutorial-level before getting to the main titles... (very stylish presentation there imo)

Being able to choose, I definitely would like to leverage the interactivity of the medium, but also a non-interactive intro can do, it just comes down to a matter of pacing.

mafia 1 was such a mature game for its time

I enjoyed it so much, i never wanted to go back and play it a second time... I dunno, just for the fear of spoiling my good memories of it.

    Quote from Czoolz

I also enjoyed the intro of far cry 3 quite a damn bit. Just the way Vaas is talking/screaming to the player and his little actions he does was really well done in my opinion.

Do agree, but such a setup went to waste; Vaas had the potential to be one of the best villains in the last few years imo, but there was no real follow-through.

Yesterday evening I watched The Dark Knight Rises, I wanted to see if a second round at it would change my mind on it: when it came out I wasn't satisfied, I hoped I could blame it on the italian dub. Instead, this time I totally got pissed at it and actually lowered the score I gave it on IMDB :-|

I so don't like it, and I don't understand how some people prefear it over TDK.

Instead, and to my surprise, the latest episodes of The Big Bang Theory are quite good, the whole 6th season is way better than the 5th.

since it exports in .map format, one can use this for brushwork and then in Hammer.
