The second screenshot makes me think that you could use the lanterns as an unconsciouns guidance for the players, to move along the main routes; if you try the approach Squad is suggesting, it could work even better!

Good finding FMPone, movement looks quite solid already. Puzzle mechanic can look limited at first, but afterall Portal does have just 2 firing modes and a few modifiers; I'm sure they plan to mix it up (the bottle changes color depending on the material that is on the machine). The animation, to me, seems a bit too "rich", animation-wise, but that is something to adjust when there's a general rithm to the whole action.
I've always been interested in sp design, my problem right now is that I have a very very old laptop with Windows :-/ I'll try to drop them a line and see if I can contribute in some way with the writing, I've always considered myself good at that, I'm interested in seeing how it works that in a videogame.

Yes, it's WB Montreal making it this time around. They look pretty in-game to me
concept-art is found in the bottom part of the linked gallery. -
Seems there's no topic about it - searching doesn't return me any dedicated topic.
After the announce I was really hyped (in fact it made me finally decide to order the GOTY edition of Arkham City, which i finished a couple of days ago).
I like what I'm seeing, just found this rich gallery of in-game shots

MOAR.
My only critique right now, would be that the Batsuit is very reminescent of the one in Nolan's movies... not that I don't like it, quite the contrary (the "helmet" is much cooler than the cape), but it's just a modern design that doesn't feel right for a prequel.
But who cares, this is one of the rare cases in which I can say "just give me more of the same".

When this is in real time, Irrational will be required to remake Bioshock

Just found out about this today, didn't noticed this topic before.
Just want to congratulate with all the designers and artists who made the cut for this new (awesome) Valve initiative [Blocked Image: http://forum.multiplayer.it/images/faccine/clap.gif]
*Thanks Mazy for the redirect - you can even delete my topic.

' timestamp='1367222434' post='330805']The Island is such an amazing movie. If you go watch it without knowing what it's all about, like I did, you'd be surprised. Deffo Michael Bay's last good movie, imo.
I dunno, watched knowing very little, but "amazing"? In the wiki they describe it as a "pastiche" but i'm not that convinced. It's just predictable.
But then, in any case, I don't think anybody expected or see it to be like an example in the "fight-the-dystopian-regime" genre.

What a show (was re-aired last night):

I haven't played Portal 2 and didn't see the topic before... but this is looking great! Keep it up.
The menu music reminds me of The Thing with the initial beat.

There was an intersting interview of Pachter by Sessler, where Pach explained his idea for the distribution scenario for MS - have the console subsidized. But if they are saving pricing informations like Sony did, guess we'll not find that out yet.
Quote from MazyGuess it's just gonna be multimedia hub kinect connectivity herpa derp focused shizzle, with maybe a single game shown.
The console is expected to be more multimedia oriented, but I hardly believe they are gonna show that little... I'd expect more like three, not necessarily exclusives.

Too many things :-/
The Island: /meh - now I really have to finally see THX (which I tried in the past but it's so slow I fell asleep in 20mins)
The Bourne Legacy: just fine, it's good entertainment and nicely intertwined with the original story, giving context; but when it ends and you look back, i dunno... doesn't feel as the story moved forward in some cospicuous way
Eight Below (on youtube [Blocked Image: http://forum.multiplayer.it/images/faccine/asd.gif]): i love dogs and dream to go and see Antartica or The Artic... and i'm a tender of heart :$

bring Road Rash back
Lol! Read "road" and seen the still-cover for the video and it was immediately understandable what this title was.
I remember playing this in my youth

Do not get fooled by the trailer btw, it is -in pure asian style- a slow-paced movie, with sparse but excellent action scenes (I really enjoy the stunts, the protagonist in those situations moves incredibly smoothly).
I think it makes you think a lot about how we react when we hear about violent crimes.

It's just a live action trailer

CEVO contest is over and it's time for the final votings. My map made it to the top 10, so would'nt mind a vote over at http://www.cevo.com/...mapping-contest
However, most people here are probably going to vote for gwalior just for the prettiness of it.
Congrats! That's certainly nice you got there.
Well I notice there are A LOT of pretty maps there, but gwalior definitely stands out... i watched the review Fmpone reported and those guys said it also plays well and intersting. I guess that if your map got in the top10 it plays well too(?) unfortunately i can't say, but anyways, even if it's labeled as a competitive map, some areas are a bit dull (eg: first shot in the contest page – the brick building viewable also in those posted here, seems a "filler") imo.

Finally a watchable Superman movie. Looks good, hope it is... I don't like anything Snyder has done till now. Very happy to see Michael Shannon as the antagonist, really like that guy.
