He's watching Game Of Thrones, The Walking Dead and Dexter... so I think it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Btw FrieChamp, if you like action and gory and haven't seen it, Spartacus is good stuff (i've seen S1 and prequel).

They spammed this HD interview+walkthrough from IGN.

Questions that arised now that I understand more about how should the game work:

• what if my randomly assigned buddies are a-holes and rush the attack, or the armory, can I enjoy and explore all the fine details of the location, or I get kicked out of the quest or something?
• the final sequence is the beginning of a PvP shoot-out, which will make me loose my stuff if we don't win

• what if my group wins, do i get extracted to some lobby (area) breaking the immersion?
• what if i don't want to get extracted, can I proceed on another mission/exploration and don't trigger the event?

I showed my friends last night (who are all PC gamers) and they were all super hyped to have us play as a group in this beautiful game. Now it looks like we won't be able to. !!!

Stumbled on this, thought I could share:

95+ : The expression “95+” comes from the fact that all our games are ultimately reviewed and judged by critics and gamers. The Metacritic Score is an aggregation of reviews, measured from 1-100, where 100 is perfection. If our games would review around 60 or 70 it would be a disaster, but luckily we have never been in those regions. It is our DNA to aim for 90 or higher, thus, we talk about “95+” as a concept. In order to deliver 95+ games, you need to provide a 95+ office, and as much as possible, your responsibility as a Leader is to prepare a 95+ canvas for those that create the game. It means that you have to be relentless in your pursuit of Quality. There is no such thing as Quality Overkill!

Not to disrespect the devs –this is fucking great– but I think it's impossible not think about Hawken: same art style, mecha stuff and even the same bobbing in the idle camera shots!

I've never been a fan of space dogfigts, but this kind of setting intrigues me a lot plus these fighters have a much more "concrete" feeling, like they have some weight... so, like Naumachia, the game from my friends that never was I feel i want to play this!

The ladder problem is because of the rich textures in the background, and the ladders being dark themselves. That, more than the surroundings, imo. I mean...

Don't need to go to such an extreme, but what about a more uniform surface behind and/or using a brighter texture for the ladder itself in conjunction?

I thought it was sp too.

Quote from Chimeray

Since Titanfall is a Source title they might ship with a working SDK version? I don't know how much effort it takes to make it compatible for the public, so EA could affect that outcome but since they're not wholly owned by EA it might work in their favor. We'll find out I suppose.

You either support a community, or not. EA doesn't explicitly do that, so whatever hacked editor you can come up with, it won't be the same as being opened to the idea... you don't need to put up an infrastructure of wikis and delivery like Valve, but they certainly don't encourage it. Also, I think to remember about an episode in which they were against it after Medal Of Honor came out... if it was so, i must have heard it from All Our History on Machinima.

In the end I think it's pretty clear their reasoning is "we don't profit from it, so we don't support it".

Then, this thing is not a stock Source game, it's safe to say that it's a heavily customized version, since what they've been able to achieve. So just because it's Source, I'm not hoping for that, even though I thought for a minute about that when I read it.

Yeah I remember them mentioning it, I understood they use it explicitly for "places" searched through Siri. I've read Bing is better than Google at certain things...

EA doesn't usually distribute tools and embrace community modifications, right? So I wouldn't put any hope in that.

Am I the only one that thinks the cars don't seem to handle very well? Like if they pivot around the center of the car axis.
