I definitely am not a fighting games fan, but Killer Instinct didn't look intersting to me, mainly it seems choppy.
The perfect sunday afternoon movie:
I do always find this movies very entertaining
We process it like the OBEY logo and GG.
Coming back to this, I noticed that several icons aren't horrible simply because of hurting colors and silly gradients: glyphs are larger, and it's noticeable especially in those icons with a circle inside... which almost touches the borders. Add to this that corners have been retouched (here they say it follows the same line of the iMac bezel) and I'm starting to fear for a transition to circle icons a-la iPod Nano ![]()
Icons are also larger +2px.
Btw, according to an insider, luckily this is WIP.
So I ask again: don't you think that if you lower the price of 20$ at new release, you are getting about triple the sales? It's just my gut, but even 2x40$ > 1x60$.
Quote from ThrikIt sounds like things are much different in the US, I guess GameStop is successful and doing great over there? Are there any other chains? What about in other countries?
In Italy there's Gamestop and nothing else. You will find games in the mall, but let two months pass, and you get robbed if you still go there, i mean i've seen stuff 6 months old still at 49-59€ while on Amazon is in the €20-30 zone.
Gamestop is the only one that serves the used market btw, and as HP says, they treat a lot of used stuff, not sure about that high percentage, but 60-40 (used-new) is maybe a good guess.
But our sales are a drop in the ocean compared, it's clear that if the american % is something near the one HP approximates, you want to cut them out.
Fool me once, don't fool me twice.
This stuff is good for displaying TV-sets at the mall.
Stickers for the laptop lids!
So when you meet someone at a game jam, or see somebody giving a talk, you know you can skip ahead of the queue to talk with him.
Quote from ThrikDoes anyone have thoughts on good sites for selling this stuff that we can use as an official 'shop'?
A lot of designers use merchline and bigcartel. For others a more in-depth search is needed.

Quote from IzunoFormer EA CEO John Riccitiello checking his phone on the South Hall lobby on Thursday:
Since I arrive here scrolling from bottom up, after clicking on "last post"... i thought the comment was "whale sailing through pavillon XY" 3:D
PS: very weak the GT6 booth with a Corvette... I mean, ok E3 is in USA, but c'mon, a Corvette?
Quote from CorwinI'm getting a bit sick of my mission in games being to save AMERICAAAA. What's it done to be worth saving anyways
Luckily, most game stories let you lose track of why you're even doing things very quickly, so I don't have to care.
Same here, I've always been curious to know if people abroad would be interested in playing a game which tells a story about terrorism or mafia, set in Italy.

reddit is under heavy load right now
please try again in a few minutes.
So, according to this guy from Gamespot, the game seems to play as Mirror's Edge meets Dead Island, with more melee than shooting than one would have thought.
Yeah, the Army is probably the only that can lobby for some change in their policy.
Or get a "Special Army Offline Edition".
Btw they said their policy may change in the future... I think there's a large chance they are gonna step back somehow, they just cannot do that publicly a few days after they explained their strategy.
More on that approaching launch, or around the first price cut(?).
Quote' timestamp='1371073290' post='335198']No, they used red to aid you with gameplay. Everything else was art direction.
I remember them saying colors did matter... I only played the demo, but it was like "blue = easy", "orange = neh", "red = I dare you!/here".
Eg: obstacles to slide underneath I think they were blue? And I remember the first wall-run was an orange surface.
Nail in the coffin?
The only thing that annoys me a bit, to which I didn't put much attention at the unveil, is the assault rifle that's a bit too reminiscent of the M4.
Funny thing: Arkane tried the MP-SP cross first(?) and they were using the Source too!
I always thought they were too ahead of their times with The Crossing, I kinda hope they can revive the project.
@Seldoon: yeah I did get that, but for some reason -probably the art-style- (but there's also the freerunning) I immediately thought of Brink when I saw Sunset Overdrive... with Titanfall I was too busy salivating ![]()
